Just come back from this brill site - there are only about 5 touring pitches the sie is kept immaculately. There are two toilet/showers, 1 ladies, 1 gents both kept spotless. This site is mainly statics so the toilets are never busy.
Walk out of the site and over the road and you're on the beach, brill for walking the dog. There are two pubs within 5mins walk we only went in the Ship, this was friendly and you can take your dog in. Tthere is a great fish and chip shop best fish I've had for ages. Also try a massive breakfast but only if you are hungry. They also do pizzas, kebabs etc. There is a shop just up the road which sells most things
This is the place if you just want to chill, we will be going back here. If you have kids there's a playground just over the road but even better miles of empty beach. Great site, great beaches, great pub, great fish, had a great time.

Having stayed on this site for a number of years and all different seasons, I can recommend it very highly, the facilities are excellent (particularly the showers) and the owners are very friendly and eager to be of any help they can. With Allonby village stretched out on the doorstep where you can find a small leisure centre, pubs, restaurants, a grocery store with ice cream to die for, post office and paper shop, fish and chip shop plus miles of uncrowded dog friendly beach, the place couldn't be better.

September 2002 Stayed at this quiet, restful park this year and was greatly impressed by the atmosphere of perfect peace that prevailed. It was so handy for the amenities in Allonby and yet felt as though it was in the middle of rural England. Walked the dog on the beach every day and eturned home rested and fit. Can highly recommend.
