Small site very quiet and peaceful run by a young French couple.

On the main road and not disturbed by traffic noise.

Small shower block kept very clean.

Would return.

We tried to stay on this site in 2006 but it had changed hands and was not operating. The new (french) owners expected to reopen in 2007. We stayed at the municipal site in Saintes instead. It was clean and very convenient.

July 2002 This is a small very quiet site with individual pitches and plenty of shade. An ex cognac house it is run by an English family who are very helpful and friendly. The site is on the n150 and is about five miles from Saintes. The facilities are basic, two showers, two toilets, one wash basin in a cubicle and four communal wash basins. All facilities are unisex and spotless. There are also electric hook ups and a sink for washing dishes. Most people use the site for one night stop overs but we stayed for two weeks. There is so much to see locally and the site owners are only too happy to advise on places to visit. Ice packs are frozen and a baker calls if you ask.
