This site is OPEN ! £7 for Campervan. Water and toilet disposal. No electric. No tents !
Great view of oil rigs to right and Moray Firth to left.
7/10 score as no power and currently (lol) no ferry.

I live in the old hotel at the Nigg Ferry Campsite and can tell you all it is now open all year round.
And it supplies waste disposal, water and electric.

The owners of this campsite have advised us that the hotel is closed (possibly up for sale?), however the certificated site for caravans and motorhomes is still open for business.

A basic pub site- no facilities. The view from your van more than compensates for this. The site is 30 metres from the beach which is sandy in places, and would be good in summer for paddling. The nearest supermarket I the Co-op in Tain, 10 mes away. Two items to note; 1.There is large Fabricaton yard 1/4 mile away. They make oil rigs there. At night you can hear machinery running. 2.The Cromarty to Nigg Ferry does not ake caravans, and only runs June-October

August 2002 A camping & caravannong club certified site for members only. The site is next to the small hotel and overlooks the Cromarty Firth. The site has water and a chemical disposal point but you may use the toilets at the hotel during the day. Food is available in the hotel and you are welcome in the bar where local beer is served. Take good pegs the ground is very rocky.
