This is a beautifully kept Site and the location was idyllic, situated on the river Ogwen with great access around. The nearby village had good stores which were well priced. Being on the river you have the quiet sounds of moving water to help you drift off at night. If that doesn't suit you, close your Windows and it's enough to block it out. The Caravan was very nice, with good parking. We did have a problem with our cooker so had to eat out ever day which became expensive but the manager gave a worthy refund if not some time later. The on site restaurant offered a reasonable service and it was nice to hear the native language among the local visitors. Although we didn't use it the site had lovely little playground which always seemed to be busy with happy little children and content parents. My grandson much preferred his time in the river building his little dam. I would definitely visit again.

I have been visiting Ogwen Bank since my children were small, about 20 years, it is so peaceful and quiet. There are some good walks around the park and the food in the club house is excellent.
The park is a good base for touring wales. If you are looking for tranquility there is no place to beat Ogwen Bank. There is a shop on the site which sells food and papers and just down the road is a small village, with pubs and shops.

June 2005 First family holiday with our 5 month old baby girl, Sophie.
Thought a tent would be too cold. Went for a static. Really well equipped as it turns out. Even if it had rained the whole time, thankfully it didn't, we would have been comfortable.
The site is picturesque. Very shaded too. Lots of tree cover. And you are never very far from the sound of the water crashing down the stream.
Enjoyed our stay but remember your passport if you go. The ferry to Eire is only an hour away.

March 2005 We went to this site for Easter weekend, and was pleasantly surprised, the website does the site no justice, its lovely, we stayed in a static caravan, it was economy, but very nice still (we were late booking) the country club that is open early for breakfast and then again for lunches and evening meals, is very family orientated, and the food is lovely, with a very wide choice and home made!!! and the food prices are very well priced, put it this way, you dont feel robbed!!!! (braising steak with mash and peas mmmmmm) It's at the side of a river that has mini waterfalls everywhere, and it overlooks massive mountains - very picturesque!! and the shop is very well stocked and very well priced as well!!!its an ideal base for exploring snowdonia and there is lots to do..... for everyone! There's the town of Bethesda just up the road with pubs, shops, take aways and a couple of cash machines, to name but a few, so its ideal, in a nutshell, I have 3 kids aged 13 7 and 5, you just cant go wrong!!!!
