Stayed here aug 2005. Mixture of tourers , statics and tents. The tent field was large and well spaced pitches, toilets okay but seperate building from showers. No major complaints, great advantage when you have kids is the bath they have in the shower block, we all piled in together and it made washing the kids much easier. Only moan is they have no dish washing facilities, which mean't boiling the kettle for every washing up session. Very warm and friendly owners. Free ice pack exchange facility Lovely scenery and walks near site. Beaches and main town within easy reach. Would return again but with electric hook up next time to boil the kettle !

August 2004 Very peaceful site owned by friendly and helpful people. Safe fields for kids to explore, great walks along shallow river, well based for all of the Lleyn peninsula/ North Wales. Free showers and seperate toilet block. Pitches are well spaced and field is well utilised to give a feel of plenty of space. Sensibly priced. Well done!

July 2004 Visited site again after some years - even more peaceful and tranquil. 3 fields, one for tourers and tents only - masses of space with few tourers and even fewer tents resulting in little demand for facilities which are spotless. Lovely views over surrounding countryside

July 2003 Immaculate campsite couple of miles out of lovely Cricieth town. Clean and tidy, with modern facilities. Owners very welcoming and helpful.
Lovely setting, well off the road and quite secluded with beautiful views of countryside. River running along one side of site.
Very enjoyable stay, with tents well spaced. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Ask owners about the magical walk along the river down to the Lloyd George memorial. Starts just over the road from the campsite - you won't regret it!

July 2003 My girlfirend and I stayed for a week. We found the site nice and quiet and in an attractive location. The owners and other campers were friendly and helpful. There is plenty of wildlife about (sheep in neighbouring fields, donkeys on the farm, rabbits feeding around the edges of the fields and hedgehogs in your tent if you don't fasten you door properly!). The site seems to be mainly for statics so there are basic ameneties for tourers(free showers/baths, toilets, electricity points, chemical toilet disposal etc) but there are few touring caravans or tents so there are no queues. Milk and newspapers can be arranged if ordered in advance and there is a freezer in one of the barns for coolbox freezer packs (but you may need to ask about it as we didn't find out until the end of our stay). The site has easy car access to Snowdonia and seaside areas, lots of local footpaths for walks and nice (some pricey) places to eat in the town.
