A lovely, well kept, scrupulously clean site with spacious pitches.
The staff are friendly, accommodating and helpful and the facilities are great with a bar that serves fantastic food at very reasonable prices.
There are plenty of electric pitches and the owner was kind enough to put us on the same pitch as last year.
The site is only a stones throw from Tenby and lots of beautiful beaches in the area. Highly recommended.

There was nothing to like about this site at all very run down was offered a refund on first night but did not accept as we had driven 360 miles.
We weren't familiar with the area so didn't know any other places otherwise we would have taken the offer just to get off the place.
Wouldn't recommend at all.

We arrived In February quite late in the day so daylight was drawing to a close. We couldn't find reception or anyone around so decided to phone reception and they advised us where to pitch. Throughout the week long stay that was the only time we spoke to the owners - they never came over to make sure everything was ok and explain about site. In all of our years of caravaning that was a first for us.
We were the only holiday'ers on site although clearly this site offers touring vans a home when they aren't being used. When we set up we decided to have a drink in the bar and a meal in their restaurant but both were closed, in fact everything but the showers were closed all week and no-one informed us of this when we phoned to make the booking.
The pitch next to us had a 3inch nail on a hard sanding pitch and there were lots of cigarette packs and butt ends thrown around the campsite which doesn't portray a good image of the site.
The toilet block is very basic but works. With a concrete floor it was exceptionally cold standing and showering in February. There were no doors on entrance to the toilets for both ladies and gents.
As the food/shop facilities were closed all week there is a friendly pub a 5 minute walk away with good pub food and selection of beers. A Co-op is 5 minutes drive away.
Saundersfoot is a lovely small seaside town about 4 miles away and a cliff edge walk from Saundersfoot to Tenby is fantastic!
It seems as though this site has had its day.

Came back to Masterland in April, had a wonderful stay, weather great! There is a takeaway and shop very good food and very reasonable prices! There has been some work done on site hard standings, and some upgrading around park.
We had a drink in the bar which was very homely. Entertainment was great and to top it all I won £40 on bingo that night. Owners were very helpful, the toilets were very clean. I met the lady who cleans the toilets, she is a very approachable and friendly person.
I would recommend this park to anyone. Just to let you all know that there is no site warden.

We all know that this is one of the wettest holiday periods for a good while so I won't go too much into the extent of waterlogging on the site. It's a pretty site in a good position for visiting Tenby, Manobier, Saundersfoot and the great attractions available for familes in Pembrokeshire.
We picked the site so we could have a drink in the evening and site outside watching our child play on the park as the photos of the site shows but when we got there a tent was pitched within the building grounds exactly where the tables and chairs were shown in the photos! There are two toilet blocks but we only visited one (however I was told by more than one neighbour that we have the best of both).
The ladies' had three loos, two sinks and one shower. The shower had a wooden door, within internal shower curtain and a concrete floor draining out through a hole in the wall. There seemed to be a perfect habitat within the block for Daddy long legs as it was not possible to shower or toilet without being made welcome by one.
One of the loos had a broken base though all flushed and had toilet roll. However the mens' toilets had no paper in one cubicle for our entire stay. The sinks were ok though the drain of one was broken and the water basically emptied onto the floor and our through the door so you had to negotiate a pool of water to get into the block.
Pembrokeshire is gorgeous, the people are friendly, Tenby is a wonderful town, the walled town has some good eating places, particularly The Tenby House Hotel, Qube and The Bay Tree. There was a super traditional sweetshop there, worth a visit. We liked Fecci's icecream parlour for treating the kids and the local bakery for wonderful coffee cake.
Ocean Commotion is an indoor play area, which was ok value for money but we found the layout a bit difficult for monitoring our child's activity, probably best for children aged 6-10.
We recommend Saundersfoot beach for great sand, rockpools and beauty. Manobier for body surfers. Folly Farm was great for younger children. We used our Tesco Clubcard points to pay quarter of the entry price making it great value too.
We did the same for Oakwood, shame about the weather but the indoor play area there was fab, definitely take your own food there though as what's on offer wasn't up to much. Oakwood was great for teens in particular.
Kilgetty Co-op was excellent for every need, from barbeque packs to fresh bread. Enjoy your stay in pembrokeshire!

We visited this site last year when it was quiet, this year we were in the main school holidays. It is well positioned for fabulous beaches at Sandersfoot and Tenby in addition to many small ones. There is a large Co-op just a 2 minute drive away in Kilgetty which has just about everything you could need.
The site has wardens at weekends who are very particular about where you pitch and park cars and this year we weren’t allowed to park next to the caravan. Although they are not so particular about children breaking site rules.
Its hard to explain to your 5 year old why he cant ride his scooter when other children ride theirs all week despite there being a ban and the owners being advised. The play area is central which is handy, but was used till gone dark with the consequent noise.
We chose to use on board facilities as we found the blocks basic compared to many. Having spoken to the owners it seems they are quite jaded as have tried many ideas that have subsequently been abused by visitors, which is perhaps reflected in the site. We love the area but after two years running here would try a different site next time.

This caravan site is very well situated for most of the resorts in the area. Tenby is about 4 miles away with the closest resort being Saundersfoot, which has a lovely beach with parking right near it in the harbour.
The site is flat with good sized pitches and contrary to their brochure, they do allow you to park your car next to your caravan. The play area is within easy reach of all areas so even small children can have a little bit of freedom, although when we visited they were slowly updating bits of it leaving areas roped off.
At weekend the site had a nice smattering of people and children, however a large amount of the vans appear to be seasonal and this meant that during the week there were actually very few people on the site. At weekends the atmosphere was very friendly and the on-site pub was well used and served good quality, reasonably priced food. I only visited the toilet facilities once which I would rate as OK but was glad that we use our own onboard.
We would go back to this site, however with our young son I would choose to go in school holidays when there will be other children around to play with.

We rang up quite late for the last bank holiday of 2006 and was advised that there was space for us. We arrived quite late on the Friday, and went to reception, We were told which pitch number we were on and put up the unit first and sort the payment out after. We found the welcome really warm and inviting and nothing was to much hassle. The toilets and showers were extremely clean and tidy if a little small and the kids could play in the park area safely. The bar / club house had lots of entertainment for all the family for both adults and children. And was far enough away to have a quiet night in if you wanted (not that we do) On the morning of leaving there was no harassment to leave, although it started to drizzle so we packed up fairly quickly. We will be back to this lovely site.

This is a very quiet, friendly site with a lovely bar and restaurant, very good for the local attractions and safe for the kids to play.
The only down side was that there was always a queues for the showers in the morning but otherwise a great site. Will definitely be going back.

We have just come back from a week at Masterland. We were very impressed with the site. It was very laid back, everyone was very friendly. The amenities, although quite basic, were exceptionally clean. The toilets are ideally located and spotless and there are good washing up facilities. The shower was a little "slow" but did the job. The plots are spacious and very flat. The bar and restaurant was exceptional for a camp site of this size and the meals were very reasonable and very hearty! All in all we had a wonderful, relaxing week here and our 7 year old had a fantastic time and made plenty of friends. We are looking forward to returning for 2 weeks next year.
