Our second visit to this lovely site with views to die for,the owners son Stewart could not be more helpful. The site was in good order and the new toilet block spotless. If you like rabbits there are dozens of them and half tame. We have a large twin axle van so it is a bit of a squeese down the lane so it is a must that you ring from the top of the lane and some one will see you down to the site. For a large van the top area is best and the view is wonderful. The Nelson in Polperro is the place to eat we had the best Dover Sole ever and for a drink it is The Blue Peter.

I have visited the site many times before with my partners family who previously had a static caravan pitch on the site. This was the first time in our tent though, and me and my partner were not disappointed. We had a lovely pitch looking out over the sea, there is nothing better than waking up in the morning to that beautiful view! The toilet and shower blocks were very clean and sufficient and of an easy walking distance to any pitch on the site! The owners who are family friends of my partners family are very friendly and will do their up most to accommodate your needs (including a helping hand on the Sunday quiz). It was definitely the best camping trip I have ever been on and cannot wait to go back this year though it will be the last in our tent as the site is being refurbished though it definitely wont be the last!

Really enjoyed stay there. Lovely views when you wake up out to sea. Lovely people and some good nights in club house. Quizzes were fun. Narrow roads to it but owners helpful in taking you out with van. Close to beach within walking distance but car was easier. Parking all day for small fee with cafe and shop as well. Can also hire canoes for an hour. Steep hill coming back up via road but can also go across fields and coastal path.

This site is a little dated, but achieves just the right balance of being "in the wild" and still having life's little luxuries. The site is at the top of a cliff, right on the south coastal route - a lovely, if not challenging walk, into Looe or Pollperro. Plenty of standpipes and bins around, and we were lucky enough to be quite close to the newer of the shower blocks (although frankly it would be difficult to be very far from them, as the site is so well planned). Was afraid that it would be a little like a holiday camp, but was pleasantly surprised. Well stocked shop on site and friendly family running the show. Altogether a good experience - reflected in the friendships we made with the equally happy campers around us!

The first thing we found was the helpful and polite staff. The pitches are all on level standing, Facilities are good shower block and toilets in good clean state. Didn't try the club house though but if it is as good as the rest of the site we missed out.
The views from the site are outstanding. Ideally situated for walks along the coastal path to either Looe or Polperro with just a few little hills. Just a short stroll (sort of) to Talland bay and a nice cream tea at the beach cafe. We are already planing our next visit

We liked this site. It's really relaxed - all on a hill but the pitches are more or less level. We were right by the new toilet block - very nice. You have to go down to the other one for washing machine. By reception there is a book swap were you can leave one of your and take another for 20p or buy another one for £1. The walk to Talland Bay is ok but we didn't take too much with us - it is worth it and the cafe there does takeaway coffee etc. It cost £19.50 for four of us and elec. The outdoor pool was cold - so the kids said but was ok once they got in their wetsuits.
We would come here again as you can hear the sea - the staff were lovely and the facilities good. No mention of salsa class - it was quiz on Tuesday and karaoke Thursday and no food Wednesday.

August 2004 Definately the place to go for a very quiet family holiday. Site right on the coastal path to Looe and Talland Bay/Polperro. Does have a new toilet block/showers in the top field but the older block for tents nearer the statics/reception was overdue for renovation. Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Club-house was also very "dated" but did some great food. Had pottery class for kids once a week and salsa class for all ages! No direct access to beach as site on top of the cliff (unless you want to take the challenging walk down cliff path to Talland Bay) but ideal point from which to sightsee! Would definately go back but would want to stay nearer the newer shower block!

March 2005 Our second visit to this beautiful site. The owners are very friendly and give a very warm welcome.Including Bill the black labrador. The facilities are very clean and of a good standard. The views are second to none, out over talland bay. An excellent site for families and couples. Highly recommended

july 02 Nice size camp site. Pitches for tents were on levelled ground with room for maybe 6 tents. Caravan were on a mixed field. 2 toilet blocks 1 new 1looked very 70's but clean. Also has a pub/club and a shop. Nice easy going place. A good place to explore from.
