Just arrived back from this site. As the previous review says this site is on a very steep incline and the touring pitches are split into 3 field, we were at the bottom of field 2.
When we arrived I had trouble getting my van onto the pitch as it was too small because it was cut into the slope and 2 of my legs were off the edge so I had to turn my van diagonally across it so I could not attach my porch awning.
I personally thought the toilet and shower block was not big enough or really very clean. I thought the food in the restaurant was very good, The bar was ok but felt more like a children's nursery. You need to sign for a key for the pool and this is handed back before departure and you have to sign the pool rules book.
I felt very relieved that there was no rain during our holiday because there was on our last day and being at the bottom of the field we were pitched in puddles that didn't drain away. Overall though this is a very well kept site with neatly cut grass in a very nice spot, people very friendly.
There were a few people there that have been before so it cant be bad.

July 2002 A very well maintained site on a steep incline - clubhouse, pool etc. at the bottom. Showers halfway down. Most camping is level at the top of the hill. It was very peaceful - too peaceful for us. There was hardly anybody else there in July and we felt a distinct lack of holiday atmosphere. We were the only customers in the club on two evenings. Clean restaurant serving ok food. Lovely pool but you had to ask for the key and take it back after your swim which was a bit offputting. Reception scruffy and nobody there when we arrived so not really welcoming and nothing in the shop. Nice people when you meet them though. Not for us but if you like absolute peace in a picturesque setting with nice valley views then this may be for you.
