 Gelert Rocky & Outwell Jersey Tent
Superb directions to the site driving through Palafrugell with the added bonus of passing a Lidl and Aldi en route, perfect for the BBQ meat.
The reception area was highly efficient and friendly and welcome sight for my wife and our three girls (all under ten) after a 6hr drive up from visiting family in Alicanté. Driving through the camp to our plot showed off the wonderful pools and the great array of nationalities there in tourers, tents as well as the sites own statics and cabins.
Our plot was beautifully shaded at the bottom of the site and very clean with plenty of room as well as the electric hook up and the Spanish family next to us even booked an electric fridge through the site office. To save space in the car we took two smaller tents an Outwell Jersey pop up for my wife and I and a Gelert Rocky 4 man for our three girls with a Gazebo between to the two.
The site turned out to be spotless with every toilet area cleaned at least twice a day and plenty of good showers and wash facilities. On site is a little bakery for your morning croissants as well as the best campsite supermarket I've seen, gift shop, cash point machine and post box. The two pools were great with water aerobic lessons provided on the odd day, we spent most of our time there as the restaurant and take away facilities next to it were brilliant value. The upper pool had a gym next door as well as an indoor & outdoor play area with table tennis tables, football pitch and volleyball.
There was a market in Palamos some 5 miles down the road which sold everything you could desire. We went to two local beaches 'llafranc' was very pretty but I would recommend beach shoes as the sand was very gritty and sharp and all the locals wore them. The other beach south of Palamos was off the beaten track but with beautiful soft sand as well as a little beach bar and portable loo's so you could stay there all day.
The evening entertainment on site was adequate with lots of dancing on show and just enough to keep you amused whilst nursing a cool beer before putting the kids to bed before another full day.
This site lived up to our expectations, obviously camping in Spain beats Dartmoor for weather but we would recommend this site to anyone and we shall be returning.

This site has many things to offer, is clean and the staff are friendly, the site toilets are spotless and the entertainment for the children is superb, I have visited this site on many ocassions and loved every minute and can't wait for my next visit. A walk down town to the harbour is a must especially at night and a short distance away La Franc another harbour town resort. Lots of little tavernas, bars and many restuarants, not the hustle and bustle you get in bigger resorts, if you try this campsite once you definitely won't want to go anywhere else!.

Beautiful site. Very clean and freindly staff......Lots to do for kids. About 10 mins walk to the most glorious beach......no high rise hotels. Only been in a static caravan but will be going back in August and hopefully next year in our own T/Tent!!
