 Friendly staff, clean toilet facilities, not too many rocks on the field. The roads were quiet at night.
This is really basic but I had a loo, water and fire was allowed. But it cost me £7 per night so what's not to like.
No shops etc close by by that didn't matter to me, Lewes and walks in the Oust Valley close by.

This is a rough and ready site, with a fee of £5 per person per night. However it was nice to be on a site with just a few campers and I fully recommend the Pubs various 100% Organic Beef Burgers (I had the 'Smelly one'! - Stilton) and the local real ale.

As my first UK camp site I suppose it is hard to write a review of this camp site but here goes:
Facilities: toilets which are locked at night and key is left on windowsill, sink but no other washing facilities.
The camp site is basically a field next to a pub which, considering the rural location was extremely lively on a Saturday night - although I didn't go in, I could hear the music all the way accross the field! Pub serves food and there is someone there to assist you from 9 am in the morning.
For only £5 per person / night you can't go wrong really as a stop over for one night only!
