We have just enjoyed a fantastic 10 night stay at Elm Farm. The hosts were very friendly and the campsite had a great atmosphere. As hardened campers this site was just perfect for us, simple but perfectly functional facilities. Quiet and peaceful with plenty of space, I was also surprised to see a 'campsite full' sign up on a couple of occasions when I thought could they could have easily got a lot more in. A good sign you're not going to be too crowded. I would happily revisit the site again which is also in a great location, 5 minute drive to both Porthtowan and Portreath beaches.

Had a lovely stay in May. Both fields are flat with good access. The surroundings are very natural and the sound of birdsong is your backdrop. The facilities are eco friendly i. E. Long drop toilets and are well kept. Up a small track and across a lane from the camping fields are the cafe and the bike barn. The cafe is well stocked (especially with superb cake! Yum!) and licensed as well. It has seating both inside and out with fantastic views. The Bike Barn is a great place to rent cycles and the camping residents' deal is great value. We cycled to Devoran on the south coast and back. It was 17 miles and took us about 4 hours including a lovely lunch of local mussels in Devoran itself. The folk who run the campsite are very laid back and friendly. Oh and you can hire braziers from them for a campfire and purchase wood etc. Very relaxing place, we shall be back!

Stayed for a week here; very handy for Redruth. The farm hires out cycles and it is on a main cycle route. A couple of miles from a beach that is good for surfing. It is actually a C & C C CS but has a rally field. The owner is thinking of installing toilets to save campers having to walk up to the farm (across the road) but he will put the prices up if he does! 2004 was £4 per night.

We have been going to this site for 6 years now, and every year Sally and Peter improve on the site.

The site is a very secluded area, with two hedrows between yourselves and any traffic, and that traffic is on a B road.

Facilities are basic, it is a tourer site with no statics, there are about 4 cold water taps in the feild, the toilet is up the hill and in the farm yard.

But what this means is that there is a safe, open, wild invironment to spend some quality time camping. The location could not be better, two very nice beaches within 1.5 miles, and St Micheals Mount less than 20 mins away.

We keep going back...
