Very clean quiet site, nice area, field is flat and very well mowed, toilets where clean, no ball games allowed (I do have a child but, also agree to No Ball Game Rule) as it is a peaceful site where visitors want to relax. There is probably pitches for about 20 caravans in the field, just beyond the stone wall is a static site, not to big, very tidy with new vans. The village of Stainton has a pub Kings Head very nice food, to far to walk (and across the busy A66), also a farm shop in Stainton very nice.
Its a site suited for Adults, a peaceful base to enjoy the North Lakes area.

June 2004 This small site is located very close to the A66 and is peaceful, level, with a tendency to dampness. The facilities are spotless, the hosts friendly, but not too interested in entertaining children due to previous bad experience.(unaccompanied children banned from washroom). I will be very happy to return again.
