Large, quiet field with great view out to sea. Helpful and accommodating. €32 per night includes electricity, extra for showers.
Small private beach that is beautiful but no dogs are allowed on it. Wish I’d known before.
No hot water for showers each day, showers cost 1. 5 euros minimum. Not many flat areas to park up.
Toilets are clean but basic and unheated. There are only 2 toilets and showers for each sex for two fields.
Difficult to contact by phone.
That all said, will probably return, given the circumstances, but not with a dog.

Nice site near the beach. Good camping shop on site, sells all sorts of little bits and pieces from cookers, tents through to patches and plugs.
You have to pay for the showers at reception (get them first as it is a long way from the shower). Loos were clean. No WiFi or any decent phone signal on site. All grass, no hard standing, pretty much park where you like, no allocated pitches.
Only issue is if you set up camp anywhere near the beach access, it seems to turn into a car park during the day. Cars literally park right next to you! I have never stayed anywhere quite like it, then come 6pm they all leave and it is nice and quiet again. You can pitch up elsewhere and I could have moved (probably would have if I was staying for longer).

We stayed here for 3 days over the Easter weekend. This site is what I would call basic, but that's exactly what we like / love about it. There is a small shop mainly for camping gear so don't panic if you have forgotten anything as they will have it and prices very good too.
We were in the top field and told to just go up and pick a spot - there were only a few with EHU and we picked a lovely pitch with great views out over the ocean. The first field has a few statics and some touring caravans.
There were only about 10 tents spread out in a huge field so it was lovely and quiet. The owner was very friendly and was out and about chatting to everyone to see if things were ok and give any advice or help.
The toilets are basic and the camping kitchen small but again its fine.
The beach is fantastic but be warned very very steep steps to it so no buggies !
No playground on this site but my kids just played away with a football with the other kids.
The site feels very safe and secure especially to let kids just run around.
We loved it because it was so quiet - we don't like the whole drinking business so this site with no shop or pub nearby was ideal for us
Wicklow town is only 5 minutes up the road.
So if you want peace and quiet - there wasn't a sound at 9pm - heaven ! this is the site for you.

Stayed here for nearly two weeks with wife and two kids, 5 and 7. We were visiting from England for family reasons - the site is handy for visiting rellies in Dublin, and for them coming down to stay with us. Fees were E16 per night all-in, with one night free if staying for seven.
I've found it hard to locate sites in Ireland similar to those I'd look out for in England and Wales - small, cheap and relatively un-developed / 'natural' - finding that often it's hard to get away from big static van parks with on site shop and perhaps pub where the tents are in a corner by the bins!
This one seems to offer a balance - there's quite a comprehensively-stocked shop based in a couple of portacabins, there's hot water and a washup, and free freeze-block freezer - all of which the wife likes for a longer stay. There are also static vans, but only partially around the edge of some of the fields, not in ranks like a housing estate. The vibe is perhaps a little like my 70s family holidays, which suits me.
Hookups are available if you like that kind of thing, and the beach is adjacent to the site and though small, kept our kids busy. No playground, but lots of space to kick a ball around or practice your hurling. If the weather is really wet, Greystones is not so far to drive to get the DART (train) into Dublin. A nice place and a friendly owner.

This is a nice site on the water's edge. Bit dated. Very convenient for Rosslare Port. It looked shut when we arrived but there was a chap waiting for the ex-ferry business. It then filled up as the evening progressed.
We used it as a first and last night stopover and will do so again.
