 Just returned yesterday from this site with our 16 month old and nearly 3 year old.
We used this site purely because my brother owns a 36x12 foot static home on here, and so I can not comment on value for money as we haven't paid the holiday park.
We have only stayed at one other static home site so will find it hard to compare.
My overall view of this site is that there are far too many static homes cramped into the site. It was a quiet site but despite the great weather we didn't sit outside the static home as it didn't feel private enough.
The site was clean and tidy, with most of the facilities we would expect.
The shop was very small behind the reception desk.
The pool was very clean and modern looking and of medium size. The small sauna was a added bonus.
There were 2 bars, the Sportsman bar and the Hollywood Bar. Both were adequately stocked and pretty cheap.
Food was basic but decent portions, and again a good price.
The evening entertainment was good for kids from about 4 years old and above, but the challenges and tasks were a bit too much for my 2 little ones, but they still seemed to love taking part even though they didn't know what they were doing!
My only real criticism of the disco was it was a bit too loud!
The location was good for Morecambe's seafront and it's not far from the M6 so easy access to Blackpool and the Lake District both about an hours drive away.
I don't think we would come back to this site just purely because there are rows and rows of tightly squeezed in static homes so the site itself is not very picturesque at all!
