Arrived to a friendly welcome from Dot who told us about the site. We could set up anywhere, so chose the field near the dated but very clean shower/toilet block and reception along side a stream.
Took a while to level van but that's part of the touring life, we're used to it. We had a much needed very peaceful stay.
Visited the club house a couple of times, again dated but the boss and staff are very friendly. Drinks reasonably priced.
The only bad points I would make is be careful in showers, the floors gets very slippery, (they have put a sign up warning you of this) I had a slip or 2 not realising just how slippy it gets.
Also the fences around the streams etc need a bit of maintenance. That's the reason why I gave the child friendly rating 5/10,
But it won't put me off going back, infact planning our next visit very soon.

Large site with bird-watching! (A big plus for me).
I was able to get a pitch a long way from the A52 which runs in front of the building.
Spotlessly clean facilities, friendly and helpful site manager. Was very good value.

Really clean site well maintained. Lovely pub indoor & outside, large clean modern clubhouse.
Touring facilities were good, clean, warm with plenty of hot water. Close to town if you want visit including bars restaurants beaches funfairs walks etc
Bit of an issue checking in as it appeared that the tourers already in place had pitched up where they wanted and this had a knock on effect meaning we had to wait over 40 mins to get onto a pitch… was disorganised although the chap who sorted it was very helpful and genuine. Got there in the end!

We were met at gate by owners showed 3 or 4 pitches which were all nice pitches, we chose one in the field at the bottom of the park we were all alone for one night.
The park had 3 fishing lakes which were free to fish. We used 2 of the lakes but only caught in one of the lakes but could see lots of carp swimming about
The showers were not able to be used but for the weekend they opened the toilets which I have to say we're always clean and smelt nice
We would stay here again

Visited here with the Trent valley DA camping and caravanning club and stayed on the rally field which was flat and quiet. The shower block and toilets really could do with a update and as others have said no mop to clean the floor or chair to place your clothes on but water was hot and they were clean. The children's adventure playground was in need of a update too as some things were broken. The cafe did good basic food and good value for money as was the club house and beer was good. The usual bingo was available at times in the club and they seemed to have entertainment at the weekend. Overall staff were friendly and a good site to relax and fish. They is a wetlands area which is a nice walk and bird watching plus two well stocked fishing lakes were even the kids caught something.

I visited this site on the evening of August 19th 2017. The shower and toilet block is near reception. The reception is a wooden hut. The showers are in a brick building and are free and do not require you to put coins in, which is always a menace, as you can forget to take coins in with you and have to get dressed and return with coins. The water was instantly hot too. The camping field is down the bottom of the site. Which is a flat field with soft ground for tent pegs to go in. Skegness is only about 2 miles up the road for lots of pubs, supermarkets, shops. My only complaint was there was a male singer in the club house that Saturday night, about 150 yards from my tent who did not sing but constantly yelled down the microphone. He could not sing to save his life and it was an awful noise to have to put up with from 9pm to 11pm. But other that that the place is 1st class.
