The Old Toll Caravan Site has been closed since 2010.

Stayed for a couple of nights on my way to Ayr, didn't seem to be anyone in charge, we were directed to a chap in a large caravan who seemed to be the reluctant warden. He locked the barrier at 9.0 0'clock on the nights we were there. Site has M74 at one side & main Gretna road on other side.Very Noisy. Toilet/Showers OK, plenty of free Hot Water. The owners live away from the site and are only there when Restaurant open - Tues to Sun lunch. We arrived Sunday Afternoon and stayed until Tues morning so didn't see them. Good Shopping Centre nearby & decent Pub just up road.
