For a caravan park that boasts “peaceful and tranquil” as one of its main attractions it really needs to take a look at its lengthy grounds maintenance program.
We had 5 solid days from 9 to 5 being surrounded by the noise of petrol mowers, strimmers, ride-on-mowers and leaf blowers. They didn’t even have the consideration to ask anyone to move their car before splattering them with grass cuttings. They were also operating machinery dangerously close to people and pets, when they should have waited for them to move away.
So much for health and safety as well. The petrol fumes from machinery was quite unbearable. Maybe they could get a contractor in to do it quicker or get more staff, some are getting on a bit. A very unprofessional operation. This happens probably every 2 to 3 weeks in summer without warning.
Great views of the bay, location is good and was a reasonable site, but would be nice to able to enjoy at least one day of our holiday in peace and quiet! Best to call them and ask what days they aren’t cutting grass before booking. Or take your own mower and help.

My husband and I stayed at Beeches holiday Park August 2012. We had a luxury caravan that overlooked the pool with a lovely view of Blue Anchor Bay. The caravan was spotlessly clean, well equipped with crisp, white bed linen. The welcome from management was very friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them.
The site is well situated for site seeing in Somerset and North Devon. The scenery is spectacular. I would certainly recommend this caravan park to friends and family and will be returning this year.

Stayed here with my husband and two Granddaughters. We had a very warm welcome on arrival. We stayed in no 56 over looking the pool, We also had a nice view over towards Minehead and the bay. The caravan was spotless, spacious, well equipped, and came with your own picnic bench and drive. Great launderette with free ironing. The swimming pool had been refurbished since we were last here, and I must say what an improvement, also there were plenty of sun loungers for all, and sun umbrellas, All in all we had a Great Holiday and I would definitely recommend to others, plus you get 10% discount when we book for another, Great value.

My husband, daughter and granddaughter and myself have just returned from a weeks stay in a hired caravan at this park. The caravan cost £420 for the week. Whilst the overall standard of the park is OK the caravan we had number 26 looks over the storage/dumping ground for the site workers. We had constant noise from mowers, bull dozers and mini diggers every day from 9am till 5pm. We had to look at the mess from the caravan windows as the caravan was sited within 3feet of the yard. There is no shop on the site even though they say there is and the swimming pool although heated? was freezing cold. Even though there were 5 of us they only provide bedding for 4 in a six berth caravan. We couldn't quite understand that and had to go and raid another caravan for the rest of our bedding.
The area is ok. The steam train to Minehead is great but I don't think we would return to this park again.
