Stayed here for two weeks in August, It is a lovely site in the middle of no where, the staff are very very friendly and nothing is to much trouble for them, I ran out of gas one night after the shop had closed and the barman went and opened the shop for me and gave me gas and asked me to pop back tomorrow to pay as the tills had been cashed up.
95% of the site is made up of static vans and seasonal pitches with just a small handful of pitches for touring vans.
It says that no tents or motorhomes are allowed but you may be wise to call up and ask as our second weekend on site a campervan turned up and stayed for the weekend.
They have a very small shop which hardly stock any goods which is a shame as they are missing out on a killing.
Showers cost 20p for two minutes (20p for three minutes near the swimming pool) but don`t let that put you off as they are very good and very clean.
Swimming pool is really nice and always really warm.
They have no washing up area so you do have to use your own van to wash up which I was not keen on as I like to use the one site washrooms to wash up the BBQ stuff.
All in all it is a very nice site and well worth a visit

Stayed for 2nights on the touring field whilst visiting Ruthin Castle-we were given a voucher for dinner there. All hard standing but the location of some of the pitches meant crossing grass to get to them. As it had been very wet, it was very boggy so difficult to manoeuvre. We had a large pitch with elec and water and tv point on hard standing sp had no problem. Some of the pitches had lovely views and walks were possible directly from your pitch
The staff were delightful, very friendly and helpful. The showers/toilets were in a very posh port a cabin-spotlessly clean. 20p for 2 mins but had to make sure all ready before inserting money as shower started straight away.
Steep incline with speed bumps on entrance so beware !
Lots entertainment at the small club/bar-wish we could have stayed longer.
Didn't try the pool so unable to comment. Mainly a static park with seasonal pitches-but some touring pitches available

Was looking for a site where we could try seasonal in our tourer. When going to look at the site they were busy cutting trees and clearing up after the snow. We were greeted at reception by Sandra who give us a map of the pitches available. We decided to go for the Kensington Touring site. The site allows you to personalise your pitch with rockery etc.
There are no washing up facility but there is toilet & shower facilities. The site boasts a clubhouse, small shop and indoor swimming pool & children's play area. There are plenty of walks from this site also. The site is for tourers and statics and is only seasonal. The site is ideal for touring round Wales and the scenery is excellent with plenty of wildlife on the park.
