A well organised site with plenty of facilities for the whole family.
My only complaint is that young children were allowed to run riot in the adult bar after the 9pm without any parental supervision.

Quay West site has a fantastic location over Newquay beach and town but I was not impressed with the on site entertainment provided.
Young children were allowed to play wildly in all areas including the main adult clubhouse area.
The saving grace for me was the outdoor pool which thankfully was well managed and safe for all ages.

Myself and my family visited Quay West last month for a four night midweek break.
We found the facilities were excellent, with loads to do for the kids and a short walk from Newquay harbour which is lovely.
The bar food is good with ample portions and reasonably priced, and there's a walkway through woodland down to the beach. Just make sure you check tide times before you head down.
Overall we had a great week and would gladly go back.

This is definitely one of Haven's more scenic parks with most caravans having a sea view as the plots are tiered. We got a great late deal and the caravan we were in was of a higher spec than we were expecting.
The staff and facilities were good and we enjoyed the evening entertainment - not Caesars Palace - but a change from sitting in front of the TV! Newquay and other surrounding resorts are small but pretty with nice sandy beaches. Well worth a visit.

This is a lovely site with most of the static caravans having a sea view. The site has a shop which is stocked with all the essentials that you may have forgotten like tomato sauce and toilet paper, plus beach toys and other tourist items you may require however the price was more than the local shop which is only a short (10 min) walk away.
There is a club house which provides entertainment specially for children. Make sure you have you wallet ready, they do a good job of getting the children to ask for promotional stuff. It is fun though and the kids had good time.
We also enjoyed the indoor swimming pool which although is small has slide and other activities which you need to be able to swim to participate. They do also provide swimming lessons to get jump start your child. A outdoor pool was being constructed during our visit.
New Quay is quaint welsh town with a harbour providing boat rides and a Small safe beach. At low tide it can reached easily along the beach from the site.
We had a fantastic time here and would love to go back

Excellent facilities, caravan bigger than expected (3 beds, not 2 as booked) and bedlinen included even though we'd gone for the most basic package which didn't include bedlinen. Couldn't work out how to put up the double bed in the living area though!
We arrived late; had pre-informed them of this, and been and were told to check in at the Security lodge, which turned out to be a desk just inside the entrance to the amusement arcade. But nobody was there when we turned up so we had to go looking for Security! We were dealt with efficiently once someone managed to locate them though.
An easy walk down to a nice beach, around 10 mins depending on where you were on the site, and from there you could walk round to the town (New Quay) - but not at or near high tide.
Nice indoor swimming pool on site; outdoor pool & splash zone advertised as opening in May 09 but they were still working on it when we left on Bank Holiday Monday (25th), which was a bit disappointing (though weather wasn't really warm enough anyway). No extra charge for swimming facilities (just show pass card on way into entertainments complex), but archery, organised swimming activities etc. About £5-6 per session; crazy golf £2.50; trampolines £2.
Some privately-owned caravans advertised for rent but I'm not sure if this would include use of the entertainments facilities; I suspect not.
On-site shop quite pricey but New Quay only about a mile away and there's a Costcutter there which is more reasonable. There may be other mini-supermarket-type shops too. On-site restaurant not bad, typical pub meal prices - but we were there late-ish and they ran out of side salad - a bit annoying when the people on the next table had left all theirs!
Dolphin-watching trips available from the town - obviously no guarantees that you'll see any, but we saw several. In fact they sometimes come very close to the town so you might even see them from the quay without having to go out in a boat.
Have given a top rating for value for money because we managed to grab a deal that gave us 3 nights over the bank holiday weekend for £99. (Full price would have been £340, which I wouldn't have paid - but maybe that's just me!)

The site is well maintained and clean, though during our visit they were in the process of building the new outdoor swimming pool so some of the children's play area was unavailable. We did not use the indoor swimming pool though it looked very nice.
The club house and entertainments area was very nice and the acts that were booked during our stay were very good. If you have children expect to spend quite a bit of money on slot machines as the layout of the clubhouse is a piece of marketing genius (a bit like sweets at the checkout in supermarkets). You have to go through the arcade to get to the bar where the live entertainment is.
The toilets (situated in the arcade) were very clean and there were ample, but as this is a static only site, all the caravans had their own toilet, and ours had 2!
The shop was very well stocked and although slightly higher prices than a supermarket it was not extortionate. There is a cost cutter in town and I walked there and back.
The site is situated close to the beach and there is a path leading there through a small nature reserve. When the tide is out New Quay is only a 10 minute walk from the campsite and the sand is hard enough for a pushchair.
We only eat out in NewQuay once but the price was reasonable, 4 adults and 5 children plus drinks £66.
There do seem to be lots of attractions in New Quay but we didn't do or see them, the kids seemed to be more interested in playing on the beach which made this a relatively cheap holiday apart from the vast amounts of alcohol consumed by the adults, (£9.95 for a 4 pint pitcher of Carling in the club house).
New Quay is a quaint, picture postcard fishing village and is well worth a visit.
I cannot comment on the customer service as the holiday was booked by my brother and during our stay we had no need to see any of the staff except for the bar staff who were very polite.

Hired a static for a week, had a great time lovely well organised site with good swimming pool and children's facilities. You can walk into Newquay to watch the dolphins from the harbour, and the bus service stops right outside the park for your lift back up the hill. Newquay is a lovely little town with great little shops and plenty of eateries, Great little getaway accommodation fantastic, most caravans having a sea view!

July 2005 This is a well run holiday park with lots to do for the kids and the young at heart. It is situated right on the edge of Cardigan bay just outside the town of New Quay which is on the west coast of Wales about halfway between Aberystwyth and Cardigan. The views from the caravans are breathtaking, looking straight into the bay, as the rows of caravans are terraced you get a clear view of the bay wherever your van is situated on the park.
There is a cafe and take-away on site but we found the prices were quite expensive, the nearest chip shop is in New Quay which is a fair walk from the site so you would need to use the car to get to it. The only downside we found was that the site seemed so far away from any of the attractions around the area, we did over 200 miles just on sightseeing trips so a car is essential.
Caravans are clean and well set out and staff are very friendly and helpful. We will be visiting the site again.
