We stayed on this site in June. The pitches were very uneven, you could not get a level. They were very boggy, due to no proper drainage. The showers were dirty and so were the toilets. There was no campsite lighting so walking back to our vans in the dark became very dangerous due to the uneven, and pot holed field. The shop has hardly anything in it and the Lady that ran the site was very very rude. Myself and my Parents are very new to camping so we thought we would stay on a camping and caravanning club recomended site, thinking that we would be well lokked after. I have a camper van and my parents have a caravan. My boyfriend joined us later on in the day and he was told that he would have to pay an extra three pounds per night to park next to my campervan. This we did not understand as we were only taking up the same ammount of space as my Parents van and car! On talking to other campers, they said how disgussed with the state of the shower block was and they would not be returning. We ourselves will most definatley not be returning to this camp site even if we were paid to do so. I was that disapointed by the treatment that we received and the state of the place I have even reported it to camping and caravanning club who are investingating.

We've just returned from a fantastic holiday in Norfolk (me, hubby and 7 yr old son) and would recommend this site. Its position is quite close to a great beach which is ideal for families and the village has two pubs, a well stocked shop and a small amusement arcade. The site itself has about 30 pitches and is part of a larger static park -about 100 vans and is well kept and the owners are friendly and helpful. There is a small children's play area and bar which is low key and although it was in the middle of August the site in general wasn't over busy. The only negative points that I would mention are that the pitch sizes are on the small side if you have a awning with not alot of room between you and your neighbours, also hubby said there was a strong "drains" smell in the showers. All in all a great site close to beach and broads - we will definitely be returning!

A great little site in the middle of nowhere right next to the beach. The only down side was the bumpy entrance which damaged the underneath of our car. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. There were no electric hookups but we had use of a communal fridge. Worth roughing it a bit for the idyllic location. The site was small which added to its charm.

We stayed here for four days and nights. The shower and toilet blocks smelt like a public toilet. They were never cleaned and smelled like they had not been cleaned all winter. Don't go there if you need to use those facilities. Unfortunately our water heater was not working so we had to shower there. I went in flip flops and took a carrier bag for my towel etc to avoid touching anything.
We couldn't go anywhere else as we were clearing out a house after a bereavement and that was the nearest site open, otherwise we would have moved on.

Although we have not stayed on this site we had a look round when visiting Norfolk. What a fantastic location, a minutes walk from a glorious sandy beach, a pub, restaurant, amusement arcade, play park and shop all on the doorstep. The site itself had quite a few touring pitches, nice clean toilet block, shop can't remember if there was a play park or not on-site. I would say an ideal site for a relaxing seaside holiday and we will be visiting this site asap.
