Our 5th year with our touring van on a seasonal pitch here. We take the van off to go touring in France and bring it back for the rest of the year.
Quiet site - great views, bit of road noise on the touring pitches next to the road (It's not a busy road).
Steele and Jane are excellent hosts. Good clean loo/showers and Elsan. Apart from the pool, laundry and gas supplies there are no other extended facilities on site. Stranraer is only 5 minutes by car and has all you need. Mainly statics on site. Small kids playpark.

This was our 3rd visit this year and we stayed until the end of October. This is a great site for all age groups. Very friendly and helpful owners, Steele and Jane. We went for one weekend just after Easter and kept going back as the views are wonderful and the site is very clean, and the grounds are well kept. The swimming pool is good as we had it to ourselves for one hour as is the kiddies play area and across the road is a shell beach which is great for walking doggies and for getting children out to collect items to remind them of their holiday. We have booked to go back for the full touring season in 2007 and expect to have a wonderful peaceful time. People very friendly in static and touring and always ready to lend a hand, as I am disabled and this helped me a great deal. Well worth a visit and no doubt you will go back again and again.

This is a lovely site, we went for 8 nights starting with the bank holiday weekend, it is very easy to find and the owners are very friendly, The website really does not do it justice - There is no clubhouse now that area has been landscaped and that is where we placed our caravan for the week so we had loads of space for the kids, then directly across that area was the indoor pool which was a real favourite with all my family, you book via the owner for an hour then its private for you - no one else can go in! brill ! There is also a nice play area. the toilet/shower block is one of the best space wise I have seen lots of space in the showers and not crowded either as not many tourers, its mainly a static site! Stranraer is 2 Min's down the road and you have a Tesco and Morrison's brill for all necessities! including petrol at Morrison's! The park is situated over the road from the water so you can sit and watch all the ferries going in and out ! We would love to return, would recommend this site if you like a bit of peace but still like things for the kids to do. The approach road is really pretty as well with lovely views across the bay. Highly recommended!
