The grass field is perfect for camping; well maintained.
The proprieter is a nice, friendly lady. The view is great, and it's a quiet site.
I paid [per night] £8 for tent and car, £5 for the electric hookup, £1 for 5 min shower [tokens]. Nice price in total (though I think the balance for pitch-electric is off).
The facilities are really outdated. Clean, everything works, but outdated. One of the two showers is quite small and cramped.

Lovely site, due the the weather so far this year we parked on the hard standing. One other van came on our 2nd night.
As we have our own facilities we didn't use the site shower which uses tokens.

A decent basic site suitable for traditional campers who haven't got used to luxury sites!
Lovely welcome from Jean.
Facilities are adequate but definitely on the no frills side. With a bit of tidying and modernisation this could be a cracking site, the dated washrooms aren't really what most people expect these days. Loos were pretty clean, hot water as reported by other reviewers was a bit unpredictable in one of the rooms at least. Hot water is supplied through over the sink heaters.
Not enough places to hang towels and clothes out of the way when showering.
Don't forget your own toilet paper. Jean told us they had problems in the past with light-fingered campers taking the rolls away.
We had a nice pitch. Level without using ramps, nice views and quiet at night. Good location for exploring the Melrose, Jedbugh area and there's plenty to see locally. Lots of tourist information supplied.
Lost on scores from us as we paid the same here as we have at other sites with better facilities.
One issue that should be addressed is the surface of the yard; it was covered with slimy jelly-like algae. This is probably due to how wet it has been but it is pretty slippery and as you have to cross it to get the the washrooms and bins, it really should be treated to get rid of it.

Large flat field with open views.
Toilets and showers basic and in poor condition with no obvious cleaning regime. Hot water to wash basins very variable. Sometimes it's hot, other times not. Showers OK but £1 per 5 minutes.
No toilet paper provided so be sure to bring some.

Large pitches with lovely views.
Traditional farm site reflected in the facilities offered. Needed updating but clean and functional.
Owner helpful and good price.

The Ashieview Stud campsite is very welcoming and is just north of the small village of Ancrum which has a pub and a super small shop.
The site is lever, spacious with great views. Quiet and restful. The owner keeps a small selection of books for campers.
The showers and toilets are in the outbuildings and are kept in good condition, clean.
Water and waste disposal also good.
I always recommend this site in the Jedburgh/ Melrose area.

Marvelous place with a brand new toilet building.
Very friendly owners who are very helpful and show you all the attractions nearby.
No electricity on the pitches at this moment but for next season that will be arranged.
In summary; great stay

Nice quite site, just fine for an over night stop and wake up to lovely views.
There was a shower facility and toilet available but we preferred to use our own in the caravan, although we were told on check in that toilet paper was not supplied.
