 We stayed for race week for TT 2024, Glen Dhoo is a very well organised family friendly site.
Fiona went out of her way to make our stay go smoothly taking delivery of some camping gear shipped over the week before.

A great camp site relaxed and with good facilities
Right on the race course but with a back entrance so you can get off the site even if the roads are closed for the TT.
Not too expensive either.

Lovely camping.
10 minutes walking distance to Hillbery corner or Cronk ny Mona if you want to watch TT close.
Very kind and caring owner, loads of regulars which will make you feel welcome. Beautiful setting. Tidy showers and toilets.
Best camping we stayed so far.

Not bad for a camping
They can improve more places to charge the phones and improve the showers, always flooding floor…
The place was top near the shops and races,
The toilets always with toilets rolls normally are cleaned and very nice and friendly people in the kitchen !

Our first time visiting the Isle of Man for the TT, so a very busy time. Site was perfectly located, right on the race course, but with alternative access so you can still get in and out of site. Lovely site, some pitches were sloping but only slightly so not a real problem. Facilities were great, everything operates on a token system at £1 per token for showers / hairdryer / washing machine / dryer (1 token per shower gave loads of hot water and a 10 minute shower). Nice quiet site but not far from all the action - walk into Douglas in about 1/2 hr.
Visiting this site in during TT week, we were prepared for the facilities to be 'strained' especially the gents, but queues were very few and far between and short and the showers and toilets were cleaned daily to a very high level.
There are a few hard-standings for motorhomes and electric pitches, and plenty of parking space for bikes. An added bonus is every booking results in a donation to the local charity!(£500 in 2013)
Owners were lovely, with a very light touch, we didn't get chased off early on our last day, our sailing wasn't until the evening so they were happy for us to pack up whenever.
Local pub (The Cat with No Tail - fab entertainment and food) only 10 minute walk away, with Spar, Chinese take-away, Chemist & bus stops.
Would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting the Island!
