This site was lovely, well kept and clean. Plenty of room between the units. The owners were a very nice couple, very helpful and friendly.
This site is seasonal but we were lucky they had a space for us to stay over the Easter weekend.
Would love to go back again soon.
Bear in mind if you do stay here there are no toilet/shower facilities, but with modern vans that's not a problem.

This is a wonderful quiet site.
We have been coming here since 2005 and wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Jean and George Handley, the site owners are a lovely couple and keep the site in tip top condition and are very approachable if you have any problems.

I inherited my caravan from my Dad. It was one of his last wishes to site his beloved 'Lunar' at Heversham Hall but unfortunately he died in February before he could achieve this. Having been used to very basic caravan holidays literally in a farmer's field (next to a river as my Dad was a keen fisherman) located further north in the Western Lakes (near Whitehaven) it was with some trepidation that I sited it at Heversham on a permanent basis in June. However, I can honestly say that it was an excellent decision. The site, run by the lovely Jean & George, is clean, tidy and very friendly with pretty views - a perfect venue for relaxing - only beware of the early morning birds (seagulls?) that tend to land on your caravan roof to practise their 'runway' skills! Although new to the area I am really looking forward to my next visit in September with my partner, Tony, when we hope to partake of some of the numerous scenic walks.

July 2005 If you want peace and quiet then this is the place. Basic facilities no showers or toilets, level pitches, and a beautiful setting, if you like walking or cycling or just admiring scenery. Friendly owners and lots of repeat customers says it all.Only £7.50 a night, we loved it and plan to visit again as soon as possible. Milnthorpe is a lovely little village with a great Chinese takeawy the Jumbo. Arnside is lovely and only 10 mins drive.
