Excellent email communication when booking. Friendly, helpful owner.
Basic but perfectly adequate pitch and facilities with 10 amp electric, fresh water point, flushing toilet, chemical disposal and bins/recycling.
Stayed 1 night after collecting our new caravan from Campbells Caravans (5 mins away) to check everything out before returning home.
As expected, there was traffic noise from the A45 and the M6, but in winter with all windows etc closed it was not overly intrusive.
Value for money at £13 a night and ideal for an overnight stay with easy access to the motorway network.

We stayed at this site once on the way to Wales and again on the way back. Very close to the M6 and ideal for a break when travelling either north or south.
We were met by Peter who was extremely friendly and helpful. There is a mixture of hard and grass pitches. The facilities were slightly dated but absolutely fine.
We had a meal at the Woodsman Pub which is about a five minute walk away and the food was good.
Not many dedicated dog walks around but free to walk around the estates on the other side of the road.
Quite a bit of road noise but it didn't disturb our sleep as we were tired.
We will definitely visit this site again when travelling south.

No complaints at all about the facilities, easy to find, very friendly welcome, given choice of pitch and use of clean toilet. Sadly we moved on after one night due to the noise not of the M6 but the A49 running alongside the campsite. Can't fault the price of £9 and an ideal place for one night whilst travelling North or South as not far from M6. Would stay here again as a stopover for a night.

Just got back from another excellent stay at this site. The owners are always very welcoming and helpful. This time round we were on hard standing as it very wet but the owners had put duck boards down to walk on to the basic but always clean toilet. Contrary to other reviews children are welcome but obviously this is a quiet site so this has to be respected we have had no problems with our grand children staying. There is a bit of noise from the M6 but we have not found this a problem it will not keep you awake. Dogs are welcome and there's plenty of places to walk them. We will definitely be staying again.

Visited the site on a second occasion and had friends to supper. Was really embarrassed when approached and told that children were not allowed on the site. Perhaps you should mention that you are an adults only site site in your description. Apart from that our overall stay was uneventful apart from worry of falling over trailing wires to the electric hook up which is only in one area of the site. Value for money - you get what you pay for.

Friendly helpful owners.
Have stayed at this site a few times, basic site, but has electric hook up and some hardstanding pitches, toilet a little unkempt at my last visit not a problem when own facilities are available. It is handy for me for visiting friends and relatives nearby.
There is some traffic noise from the M6, haven't needed to use my earplugs though, bonus is it is great for motorway connections.
Bus stop within a couple of minutes walk.
