 This is a great caravan site and we have been coming here for quite a long time, and the price is very good if you have a tent there is land for you to pitch.
We have been there when a rally has been on and have been invited to join in, in the room for a social, brilliant.
I would recommend this site to anybody.

We have been camping at this 5 van site for more years than I can remember, it is a great site with hard standing, water for drinking and water for CDP,
it has EHU, showers and toilet block and a playground that is fenced off,
it's a small walk to the Tankard Inn for a good cheap pint and the shop is just a little bit further into the village,
if you like walking you can walk to the next village along the side of the airfield runway very interesting or catch a bus to York or Wetherby.

This is little more than a field (very flat for camping though!) that is used as a sports field, you get the key for the shower block. The showers are communal - great if you're there alone, but not so great if there's a queue to use it! There are no on-site facilities, just water, toilets and showers.
We were put in a little 'dell' which was wonderfully peaceful - but apparently it was to be built on.
A fine site for a night or two but I wouldn't recommend it for anything longer.
