Excellent location and easy to get in and out etc. Beautiful surroundings and we were made very welcome.
As it was November we stayed on the hard standing near the house, which was perfect. Right next to a field with horses in.
We were visiting our son in Huddersfield Uni and within 15 - 20mins we were in the town centre from the site.

Our family and me have just stayed at this site, we had a wedding to attend to local, so this was perfectly located.
I made an enquiry over the phone and it was explained that during the time of year I required the field would be shut and I would be placed on the hardstanding, great for us, we had ehu and a water point, chemical disposal is also available. The hard standing is on a slight gradient so ramps/chocks might be needed. Our outfit is 6. 3m so I rammped the front axle and chocked the front legs.
I paid £15 deposit and £45 once I arrived for 5 nights over the new year bank holiday etc.
The site owners are very very nice and laid back which made our stay even more pleasant, I asked what time I had to leave on the sunday and the reply was ' Oh when your ready '.
Views are fantastic, site access is great and easy, price is very reasonable given the facilities. A true little gem of a site. Suited us perfectly.

May 2004 Our first camping expedition so have no other experiences to compare too.
Staff were friendly and toilets/showers were fine, very close to Bournemouth and surrounding beaches. Plenty of places to eat/shop.
However no one mentioned proximity to Bournemouth International Airport and the fact that the site seems to be at the end of the runway. Absolutely terrified my three young children when a plane went in to land at 10pm.
Felt very crowded on the area allocated for the tents but it was the bank holiday weekend and we did enjoy our first camping trip.
