We stayed for four nights in a motorhome but could easily have stayed here longer. The pitches are extremely spacious so no problems when full. The site has all the basic facilities you need but with an added bonus of Sandy and Arfon the owners who rear goats and are more than happy to let you have hands on at milking time. A regular bus service that links all of Anglsey is just outside the site & the quiet lane next to the site was perfect for bike rides heading for Beumaris and the No 5 cycle route. The curb appeal should not put anyone off as once up the drive you will find yourself in a little oasis and a gem of a site.

We visited this site based on the one review listed and wished we hadn't bothered. I am slightly amazed that this is a C.L. Site belonging to the Caravan Club as its conditions were very basic. The club sign was rusted and broken which made it hard to find.
Unless you are able to pitch on one of two on the left of the gate, you are either looking at the busy adjacent road or the owners house.
The field is sloped and you need a 4 x 4 or you will struggle in the wet.
A torch is a must as everywhere is pitch black. The only tap is against the owners building but you have to negotiate around a 6 inch raised manhole (elsan toilet disposal point) and along a slippy path to reach it.
The constant traffic noise 24/7 was even heard over the T.V. And it amazes me as to where it all comes from for an island in February?
Finally, the price - £12 a night, this is the most expensive C.L. We have been on.

We stayed here with our two dogs in November 2007. The site is basic, ie. There are no showers or toilet facilities. For us, this was fine, since we have full facilities in our van. The water tap and chemical waste disposal point were close to hand and one big advantage of this site for us was that the caravans are pitched in a secure field where we could keep the gate closed and let our dogs run off lead.
The views from this site are fabulous, and it is only a short drive to picturesque Red Wharf Bay. The owners, Sandy and Arfon were friendly, and we would definitely re-visit this site. The fees were very reasonable, but with only 5 available pitches, getting a pitch might be a problem during the summer months. We only caravan at weekends because we spend our longer vacations in the South of France, so little sites like this where we can visit most of the year round are ideal for our needs, being only just over an hour's drive from our home.
