The campsite was easy to find. Right by the start of the Bala Lake tourist train station. Upon arrival we booked in at the house with a lovely, friendly and welcoming guy named Gareth.
The location was lovely by the river and the grass was well cut and smart. There was a lovely kiddies playground for out daughter and very clean toilets and washing places.
The showers were also nice and clean, as was the places for waste disposal.
We had a lovely time there and will definitely be back again.
It was also well located for tourist areas like Bala, Barmouth and Dolgellau.
Manyvthanks for the nice stay.
Steve, Fevie and Naisha.

As a solo motorcycle traveller, I chose this site as it fitted in with some routes that I already had planned, after being let down by another site.
It really was the perfect spot from which to explore Snowdonia and further afield, and the petrol station at the far end of the village that opened at 7. 30am was a real bonus.
The steam railway next door was a lovely extra and the station cafe is open until just after the last train of the day, so I was able to finish my rides most days with a cuppa and a nice piece of cake.
The site is very neat, tidy and extremely well kept. The area is very quiet and the views from everywhere on the site are wonderful.
The covered pot washing areas with loads of hot water are as good as I have used anywhere and always clean.
The facilities are kept very clean at all times, but if I am being picky I would say that the washing facilities are just a little bit lacking. In the lower toilet block there are two tiny semi circular sinks, really only any good for hand washing. In the main block where the showers are, there are two good sized basins but the block is a good few minutes walk from the non electric pitches at the far end of the site.
Overall this is a really excellent site with extremely good prices considering the area. Without doubt I will return there again.

Lovely, well maintained site, with clean facilities.
The site owners were quick to respond to my pre holiday queries (by email) and were very pleasant and helpful at check in.
Showers are push button type with reasonable pressure so washing hair wasn't a problem (personally I would prefer the showers a little hotter). Dishwashing area was undercover and there is free use of fridge/freezer if you want it. We had a massive electric pitch, which was great for our large tent with plenty of room left to play outside and have a fire pit.
Village pub does great food, in large portions and has a small shop useful for any necessities, there was also a petrol station with a shop in the village. We chose this site due to proximity to the lake, parking at Llangower £5/day, a lovely spot for a picnic and water fun.
The steam train (based next door) is a lovely little trip and staff/volunteers are friendly and happy to explain things about the trains/railway.
Overall, I think this is a lovely site, which is looked after very well and I wouldn't hesitate to book again if planning a trip to the same area.

We have just returned from 3 night stay in the B&B and I honestly can’t fault it, the rooms are lovely and clean, if I had one criticism it would be the single duvet just covered us, but it never ruined our holiday.
The breakfast was perfect cooked to our liking and because you have to pre order your breakfast and put a time you want it, we never waited at all for our breakfast, there is a variety of cereal, fruit juices and jams for your toast,
I honestly will be staying here again.
The host are so lovely too, made us feel so welcome, and they even helped us out because we forgot our USB C plug they provided us with one.
In the room was shampoo and conditioner, also body moisturiser too. Also additional pillows and fans, tea coffee and biscuits, and the mattress was lovey to sleep on,
Well worth a stay,
Oh and a lovely steam train that runs from outside the B&B, don’t worry you can’t hear it and it doesn’t toot it’s whistle till late morning and the views are lovely too.
There is a pub just down the road within walking distance as well,
This site also had a camp site and a river running through it, so picturesque

I liked the location, close to the interesting rail station.
The facilities were are good and clean. It was quiet.
There is a very traditional pub nearby which I walked to and had a nice meal and pint.
I enjoyed my one night stay here.
I was travelling on foot and camping in a small tent, but I can see how this site would suit groups, families etc.

Fantastic couple of nights at the start of camping season and the grandkids loved it.
A bit cold at night but the campfire and marshmallows soon warmed us up.
Great clean facilities, kids play area, steam train, spring lambs across the small river.
Great owners, will be back again
