Have just returned from this excellent site and I to agree with all the other reviews, this is an excellent well run site with an amazing location. For me, the verandahs and picnic tables as part of the caravan, were a real bonus.
Even though it was mid-October I sat out and had my breakfast taking in the superb view, mad I may be mad but it had to be done!
I disagree with the view that the park is remote, I don't think it is that remote there were plenty of places to go on the Lizard penisula, yes you need a car but if you didn't have a car you wouldn't be going to the site would you? All in all a little gem of a park.

Sea acres is a fantastic site brilliant site for children with the kids entertainment. The caravan I stayed in was very clean as was the whole park. The sea views are amazing and the beach at kennack sands is clean and lifeguarded.

We have already booked again for next july but are going for 2 weeks instead of 1 would recommend this site to anyone was well worth travelling the 364 miles A star all the way

Had an excellent time at sea acres, it was everything we wanted and more. It's possibly the quietest site I've ever been to, you wouldn't have known if it was full or empty. The sea views from the balcony of the mobile home are amazing, we were very lucky to have a very sunny week and were in awe every day. The swimming pool is kept at a lovely temperature, we didn't use the restaurant or take-away and the shop is basic. The staff on reception and at the pool are very very friendly. The only problem we had was initially finding the site, it's all very rural and there were no signs to the site itself, after the first couple of days we had no problem with it. It's a perfect area for touring Cornwall and I would imagine that in the middle of summer the beach would be amazing. Thank you to all, we will definitely be recommending it to others and hope to go back there another time.

Just returned from our first visit to Sea Acres. Brilliant holiday. Location great; quietest site I have visited; very well kept with plenty of green space; lovely sea views from our caravan (I would opt for one of the seaview units with verandah as these do have uninterrupted views of bay and sea); staff very friendly; onsite shop small but stocked most essentials.
This is an ideal site for young children as it is quiet, friendly & feels very safe, with very few cars (even though the site was fairly full although not peak season) - 2 play areas (for smaller & slightly older children) & small indoor softplay
5 mins from a great beach at Kennack sands - sandy beach with safe shallow waters, rock pools, a lifeguard, beach shop & cafe. Lovely coastal walks direct from site. Pool is a bit limited (paddling pool very restricting as quite deep and difficult for children to get in on their own), but would keep you entertained on a rainy afternoon.
There are quite a few lovely coves & small fishing villages to visit on the Lizard (all seemed amazingly quiet when we visited early July). We will definitely be returning to this site.

Just returned from a great holiday in Sea Acres, my first holiday at a Park Dean site. The site is friendly and the caravan we stayed in was clean and tidy with a fabulous sea view. The entertainment staff worked hard at ensuring that the kids enjoyed themselves - lots of party dancing with 'Maxi', competitions and comedy. The only minus was that the adult entertainment was not great - bit too carbaret for me but we always return to the caravan by 10 as we have young kids so it wasn't really a problem. There is also children's entertainment held during the day if required as well as a small soft play, crazy golf and a couple of children's playgrounds. The pool is fine and it has changing rooms and free lockers.

The Lizard itself is quiet and traffic free, and the beaches are small and deserted. We actually preferred to travel to St Ives where there are I believe the best beaches in the South West, half hour by car.

Flambards is another must for a family day out - 10 minutes drives from the site.

All in all I would highly recommend this site but a car is essential. Looking forward to my next Park Dean holiday!

Just come back from Sea Acres, its a brilliant campsite. This is the 3rd Year we have stayed there.

The Park is a laid back and relaxed park, aimed at families with small children. It has kids clubs etc to keep them busy. But it doesnt have much to keep older children busy.

All The facilities are top notch. This year they have refurbished the bar and entertainment venue. The staff couldnt be any more helpful and pleasant. We arrived on checkin day 4 hours before the stated time. They told us our van wasnt ready, but asked for our mobile number, or our location we had parked up at , so they could come and give us the keys when the van was ready. All in all we waited 30 mins while the cleaners went and got our van ready so we could move in.

The Phone service you get (small deposit) is a must. The park is situated down a bit from the top of the hills(which hamper your attempts to get a good mobile phone signal).

Plenty of things to do all around offsite. Worth a visit is Roskillys Ice Cream factory. Reception will be able to tell you where it is (you may have to ask for directions to the 'Croust House' which is the name of the little cafe that is at the factory.

We love this park so much, we are booked in already for next year

We stayed at Sea Acres as part of an offer with The Sun. There were six in our group: two adults, two aged 14, a five year old and a three year old.

Cost: £60.00 (4 nights), plus £10.00 linen and £10.00 electricity and gas.

We were blessed with excellent weather (certainly considering it was the beginning of April!)

Pros: the site was very clean, and very well maintained. I suspect the chap who was in charge of the ground maintenance really enjoyed his job, as he was on his sit on lawn mower every day! No complaints, as he (like all the staff) was very friendly and helpful. Excellent view of the nearby beach.(10 minutes walk down a road) Beach was very clean, and pebbly. Plenty of activities for the little ones: soft play area, indoor swimming pool, free crazy golf, 2 play parks (one for tinies, the other for older kids) and kids club. Unfortunately, we didn't get chance to use much of these, as we spent most of the time at nearby attractions: Goonhilly Earth Centre, Poldark Mine, Eden Project, Flambards Theme Park, Seal Sanctuary. Great views of the sea. Oh, there's also a golf course on site! The restaurant caters for sit down meals (maximum capacity looks to be about 30), plus a take away. Although busy, the food arrived very quickly, and was excellent! There's a small 'Cost Cutter' shop on site, though it's a little expensive. The site also features a launderette, and promotes recycling rubbish. Check out the reception for discount vouchers for nearby attractions.

Cons: Quite a distance from anywhere, so a car is essential. Not much to do for those with older kids.Overall, it's an excellent site, and if it is an example of other Park Dean sites closer to home, we'll certainly visit!

We stayed here for 2 weeks in a static with fab views of Kennack Sands beach( 5 min walk). The caravan was clean and tidy, it had a tv and dvd plus even a phone. As for the site it has a pool and kids soft play plus a bistro and bar. The entertainment was good and not in your face though bingo every night seemed a tad too much. The site is remote and a car is a must if you want to get out and about.

Also there is a lovely walk from the site over the cliffs to a fishing village (about an hour). All in all a good site! Ooh forgot site has golf course thing too though never tried it!

 May 2004
We rented a caravan for a week on this lovely site. It was fantastic. The van had spectacular sea views, the best I have experienced. The staff were friendly, the entertaiment was good but not in your face.

The caravan was very well equipped with even a video player and a telephone in it. The location is fairly remote however, so if you want peace and quiet then this is great, but if you want to get out and about on your holiday then expect a long drive to everywhere. A super site.
