 Check time was very strict, and after the time they didn't seem ready for us. Nice site overall, cleanish, and lots to do on site. Food basic and a little pricey. Lots to do for kids there. Static caravan clean and well appointed. Reasonable price considering time of year. Beach close, lots of walking and maybe a little too much wine drinking. Some staff seemed uninterested, deaf or just did not understand English. Criticisms, overflowing bins, some litter, non-interactive staff and dirty toilets. Plus points, nice caravan, reasonable price, general cleanliness and lots to do.

I stayed here with my wife and three children (10, 6 and 3 Months) on a glorious sunny weekend in June. We normally camp but having just had a baby decided to stop in a static. We also don’t normally stay at what I would call a commercial holiday park but I must say that at this site, which is part of the Parkdean group, it is acceptable to leave with some money in your wallet and the shirt on your back.
The Static Caravan we stopped was really nice and really clean and with a TV and microwave was quite luxurious. The only downside was we hired a travel cot for our baby son but it was pink and did not fit in the bedroom but apart from that every other aspect was great.
The site itself is excellent and the three days we stopped was nowhere near long enough. It has something for everybody!
There are two bars one for just adults, The Sportsman, which I did not use and the family bar, the Showbar, which again is excellent and offers entrainment for everybody it kicks off about 7pm with entertainment for the children and then later in the night, about 8ish they have a disco, then about 9ish they have either a singing act or a comedian on. The drinks prices are not too bad either just beware of the dance floor police – these are the staff that sit on chairs at each end of the dance floor and when an act is on, in my opinion, man handle any child that dares cross the dance floor away.
There is an amusement arcade within the showbar that has a full glass front so you can let the children play in there and still be in full view.
The food served in the restaurant is good quality and not badly priced.
The outside play areas are second to none, especially when it is as sunny as it was when we was there, there is the standard play area you normally get at a holiday park but the splash area is spectacular and the kids spent all day in there.
When you leave the site, at the rear, for a walk down the sea front there are a couple of pubs, if you don’t want the standard pub atmosphere you get at these places, again having kids did not visit these however half way down the beach front on the right is a café that does the best breakfast you will ever taste, I am now drooling just thinking about it.
It is a real shame that they don’t offer camping at this site if they did I would return in the future without hesitation.
