We have just spent an idyllic 10 days at this campsite. It’s quiet both daytime and night. Basic facilities, water tap, recycling bins small cold water wash basin and an old fashioned elsan emptying point, just lift the lid on the septic tank and pour it in! Does pong a bit and take your own rinsing water as there is no tap just a bucket. Oh and no electric hook up.
Short mown grass, Val (the owner) keeps it trim every few days, other than that she leaves you alone.
Pay at the house within 48 hours of arriving. Put your fees into an envelope with your name on it and post into the letter box on the side of the house, you will need to dress to do this.
A couple of bewares, firstly the lane it is up is narrow and there is another Caravan and Motorhome site on your left as you drive up the lane.
Heather house is a few yards further along on the right. Secondly avoid pitching at the eastern edge of the field (on your right as you pull in) as this is the lowest point on the field and does get soggy underfoot following heavy rain. We had two thunderstorms do this to us.
All in all an ideal naturist site which does not seem to be overly used but deserves our support.

Spent another superb weekend at Heather House farm.
Quiet and peaceful, with a variety of birds and 2 muntjac deer for company.
We love it here and always sleep well as it is so quiet.
There are no rules and Val the owner is very discreet.

We visited Heather House Farm again this year.
Unfortunately we couldn't get the caravan fridge to run on gas. We mentioned this to Val, the owner and she found a bucket we could use to fill with cold water to keep our milk chilled.
She then checked on us the next day. What kindness!
Love the site, quiet, no rules, secluded and so relaxing.

Just got back from this lovely CL and had to make an up to date comment.
My wife and I are new to naturism and to be honest were a little wary about what to expect on our maiden venture. The owners are a great couple who go out of their way to make you feel at home.
The site is beautifully kept with short level grass that is surrounded by mature trees and therefore well away from prying eyes.
There are the normal waste and re-cycling facilities as one would expect but no electricity on site but that was fine as the battery held up very well.
There were four other couples on the site and like us all were in our shall we say 'older years' which to be honest we were rather glad about for body beauties we certainly are not.
The weather was great which made for a great long weekend and to be sure we will venture back to Heather House farm again.

A great 5van site that is kept immaculately, even it wet years, (is that all we get now), the site has basic facilities as do other sites of this type, however there is nothing basic about the care of the site or the welcome given by its owners. They go beyond what is expected to make your stay as good as is possible, they seam to be on duty 24 / 7 and are always there to help, but never there to pry or make you feel watched (as can happen on some 5 van sites).
The site is very popular especially at week ends so booking is always advisable. The ground is level and very large for 5 caravans there must be over 30 meters at least and probably more between units, however if you go with friends you could get closer.
The approach to the site is great and my Satnav took me right to the door. The last few feet literally were the only place I travelled on a single track road (this literally was up a short drive to the double field gates that are at the entrance to the site.
The site could not be better situated on the Norfolk Broads or Norfolk in general, its about 12 miles from Great Yarmouth, and also 12 miles from Norwich. There is a large Tesco Super Market only 5 min’s away. There’s a post box at the end of the lane in one direction, and Hickling Broad is just a stroll in the opposite direction.
The village of Hickling is very picturesque and the Broad is beautiful, here you will find a pub that serves meals and good choice of wines, beers and lagers. The pub sits right on the broad with staithes at each of the pub, it’s a great place to sit and watch water craft of all kinds come and go. Its not only the boats that drift by, time seams to drift by too, as you watch the water fowl. The nature reserve is also situated on the outskirts of the village.
If you like windmills then you will be spoilt for choice Sutton Mill with its own museum is just a field away, and Horsey Mill is just minutes away in the car or bicycle, if you like the beach then it too is about the same distance from the site. There are loads of history around you, Admiral lord Nelson, the nations hero was born in this area. Even the windmills here have a nautical past, ha ha, as their sails would be positioned in a cross of saint Andrew to warn the local smugglers that the revenue men were on their way up the coast. If you want a restful holiday as a naturist then this is the site for you as no matter how busy your day has been, you know when you return to the site its as if you left the world behind and returned to your own peaceful corner of the broads.
Before I end I must once again mention the care taken by the site owners, they are truly not in it for the money. To emphasise this I will use my experience as an example.
Trust me to want to visit during one of the wettest summers on record!. I telephoned the site to make a reservation, however the owners informed me the site was very muddy, so it was not advisable to go. They could tell I was disappointed, to my surprise a week or so latter I got a telephone call to let me know the site was now OK. (great service I thought) and just for the record we had 15 days of great weather with great temperatures never one drop of rain. The grass was dry and it was like sitting on someone’s lawn.

This is a wonderfully simple naturist (nudist) site. Not suitable for tents as it only has fresh water and chemical toilet emptying facilities. But the owners are very pleasant, and it is set in the heart of the beautiful Norfolk Broads. It is a short walk to the village of Hickling with its 2 pubs ( 1 beside the Broad) and village shops. The site is within easy driving of the historic City of Norwich, and the bustling coastal resort of Great Yarmouth. Two naturist beaches are also within easy driving distance. DO NOT expect to find swimming pools , bars and supermarkets on site. You will be sorely disappointed, but if you want a quiet, peaceful naturist venue (perhaps for your first time), with only basic facilities, then this is for you.
