Neglected site, grass not cut, toilet in small wooden shed which had not been cleaned,
No view, road noise from A149,
Only good thing was you could cycle to Hickling Broad on lovely small roads,
Nobody in attendance, envelope left in house next door porch for money.
£8 a night for electric

We have visited keelers meadow 3 times over the years
We are in our 80s now and last year we booked our tent in for a perfect week of peace and quiet
The owners are nice & friendly and we always have a perfect break.
Keelers meadow is just a meadow with the essentials needed for a quiet break, central to Potter and to Wroxham.
Hopeful of going again this year health permitting we find it a little gem

This is an odd campsite, we couldn't decide whether we loved or hated it. It's a very simple field, with water, bins and a loo. It has lots of good points, like the location (in a lovely quiet part of the Broads, and near to several pretty villages and the sandy beaches at Sea Palling and Winterton), and the wildlife such as ducks parading past the tent door and bats swooping low. But then again, it's a bit like camping in your granny's garden, overlooked by lots of net-curtained windows, listening to the neighbours putting their cat out for the night.
The thing we were most fascinated by however was the toilet. There's a little shed, with a single loo inside. My daughter loved it! 'Oooh, it's got frilly curtains and a little carpet and a bookshelf and a fluffy gnome and a tiny sink' she reported. My husband was less impressed 'there are 22 separate notices in there, instructing me how to use the light, the heater, the door, even the toilet brush. They've also labelled the soap, in case daring toiletry thieves come pillaging'.
We paid about £20 for 2 nights in September, which was great value for money. We hired a canadian canoe from a lovely man at Sutton Staithe (2 mins walk from the site) for £23 for half a day and paddled around very happily. We drove to Winterton and walked on the dunes and beach. We would return, I think, despite the peculiarities.

A very nice little site.
Was very quite when we went so only having one toilet wasn't an issue. Not sure if this would have been ok at a busier time.
Its good value for money - You get what you pay for :-)
Tesco is a few minutes drive away and a very short walk from there into Stalham high st for the local shops.
The local pub is across a busy road but was easy enough to cross if using the island to help you. It is quite expensive, but it is equipped with a park for the kids and Pool tables its a nice evening out beside the staithe to watch the boats.

This is a quiet site in small field, grass was very long but we were in a motorhome so it did not bother us. Opening and closing the gate behind you each time became a pain (getting in and out of vehicle, especially as vehicle jutted out into road when closing gate behind you).
Facilities very basic but reasonably priced. Just electric hook up, water and elsan point. It serves its purpose.
Pub was an easy walk away but had to cross a busy main road. Drive to large Tescos. Good for access to Stalham boatyards.

Keeler's Meadow is a very basic site It is literally a field with some electric hook up points
There is a garden shed near the fence which houses the toilet and washing facilities with the disposal area next to it and that is it Ideal for a quiet relaxing get away or to keep you away from the main holiday area of North Norfolk where there are loads of places to visit
There is Tesco just up the road at Stalham (Although I did not try it)
Turn left out of the gate and there is a pub just a 5 minute walk away but you have to cross a main road There is a very extensive menu and a good selection of ales and lagers
I have given Keelers Meadow a 9/10 for value as it only cost me £18 for 2 nights including EHU
