Westhorpe is brilliant!
I have been to this site every year for the past 4 years and it has never failed to disappoint!
It is set just next to a lovely great lake. We got a spot right on the water side it was perfect.
The staff in the clubhouse were very very helpful. On one of the evenings my husband and I wanted to venture out in to marlow and the couple running the place recommended a fantastic country pub, it was just a short walk away.
The toilets were always clean and always open, the showers are spotless. These are both set in a humble log cabin which I found a nice touch and my husband was happy to see the cricket being played on a large TV.
In all of our visits there has never been any disruptions or unpleasantness.
I would recommend this site to everyone, it is in a perfect position. Far away to get away from reality but close enough to the small town of marlow.
Some of the other campers we saw had small children and they took full advantage of the children's play area and the sweet shop they had in the clubhouse.
Perfect for all! I'll be going back next year, and the next year, and the next year.

The camping pitches area are in a field behind a high hedge looking at old farm out buildings.
When we arrived the Co owner of the site just asked for payment & told us to park behind the hedge & where the toilet block, showers,& water point & power points & did not even show us?
Also when we went to find our pitch all the watersport groups cars were parked across them.
This site has a club house listed, I asked the owners what the club house had on offer & what time it was open till. The reply was 'until this lot were here till' meaning the water sports groups which were there.
The club house is log cabin. The site is a watersports lakes for watersking, power speed boating,& jetskiing, Everything on the site is set up for watersports From 9am till 10pm when they all leave the site, they are very loud teenagers & parents riding around on quad bikes in the field where the campers where pitched.
The views over the lakes are very very good, but campers are hidden away behind the high hedges with no view at all.
The toilet block & showers, mens & womens at the end of the club house. Water sports clothing all over the floor in the shower changing area. Mud everywhere on the floors and in the only shower, and the only toilet & 1 urinal, which had no flushing. There was no soap & no hand drying anywhere
