Very secluded site, set in a pretty valley with lovely views, very friendly owners.

Wonderful dog walking area.

But apparently most of the caravans sited are permanent and same with the site further back up the driveway that only has porta loos and no showers.

With this in mind all the upper site occupants have to drive down to the showers on the lower site and a stream off cars vans etc from obviously working folk some as early as 03. 30 and several at 0530.

Great site if a heavy sleeper as we were close to the facility as per my request, but the banging of van doors, car boots does become more disturbing.

Fir Tree farm could not have been a better site for my maiden voyage! I was the only resident so very peaceful!

It is secluded and safe surrounded by beautiful countryside. A stunning scene this morning as the frost surrounded the lake, seen from the van.

A safe extensive dog walking area with footpaths stretching for miles from the site.

Extremely helpful and friendly site manager - I knew I could ask for anything having shared the fact that it was my first night in a camper!

Would definitely visit again.

Value for money with excellent shower and toilet facilities.

Loved our night here, everything was explained perfectly as it was our first time camping.

Space was abundant and facilities were clean.

A lovely peaceful site surrounded by delightful countryside and woodland.

Plenty of level pitch sites on the rolling hillside, complete with a fishing lake and view over the surrounding countryside.

Greeted by a friendly site staff/owner (unsure which) regardless made to feel very welcome.

The site has one main toilet/shower block, top class shower (no extra charge) with no shortage of hot water.

The showers comprise of Individual ‘bathrooms’ toilet/sink/shower room, not lots maybe 6? Potentially could be popular, though no queue on my visit.

Various porta toilets inconspicuously sited, handy at night if your some distance from the main block.

Didn’t notice a shop, but when approaching from Banbury there was a local Sainsbury’s fairly close, which could be handy.

All in all I would recommend & definitely would return.

Just wanted to say how lovely this site is and we will definitely be back! We only live half an hour away, but I can honestly say we have never stayed at such a peaceful campsite in all our years camping.

The view's were lovely and facilities are good too. Love the sinks to wash up!

Lovely dog walking field and can't wait to come back even for a weekend again soon.

Not forgetting how lovely the owner was too.

See you again very soon

Great find! A peaceful site, with a large dog walking area.

Various walks from the site, some fields have livestock, so dogs need to be under control.

Fantastic views all round.

A nice fishing lake in the centre of the site which we didn’t use, but saw plenty of families making use of it.

Clare is very friendly and helpful.

We liked it so much we returned the following weekend as it’s not far from home!

We originally booked for staying 2 nights and ended up staying for 4, the site itself has amazing views of hills and the lake.

It’s peaceful and quiet as it’s well in off the road and is like been in a different world altogether.

The site itself is maintained as well as the on site facilities which are spotless for a communal shower block.

And the site warden Claire is very welcoming and friendly giving a choice of multiple pitches with or without EHU I look forward to coming here again soon.
