This is our 3rd year staying at the Laurels and this site just gets better. Jo & Sarah who run the site are as friendly and helpful as you could wish to find.
The excellent standards of the site all round are a pleasure to behold. From the well kept grounds to the excellent toilet & shower block.
The pitches themselves are pool table level and of an excellent standard, most being separated from your neighbours by hedges. Rock beach is only 9 miles away and is dog friendly all year round.
I have read some reviews stating a complaint about road noise. We are sited close to the road itself and never heard a thing, so I can only imagine some people sleep very lightly indeed.
I would recommend the Laurels to anyone wishing to visit Cornwall.
Thanks again to Jo & Sarah.

Could not fault this site! Basically Jo and Sarah are fantastic hosts and their team also could not be more helpful.
Immaculate in every aspect, site tidy and regularly maintained, toilets showers etc etc A1.
Good bike routes via The Camel Trail, but ideally you’ll need an electric bike as there’s a very steep hill getting to the trail. Great going down to the trail but a long push back but Jo did warn us. Lovely pub nearby.
Buses to Padstow and Wadebridge stop just outside the site. We took the motorhome to Newquay for the day, fair price for parking all day.
Well done Jo, Sarah and their team
Great job.

Really nice site, Toilets we’re always exceptionally clean at all times of the day. Campsite was well manicured. Staff were helpful on arrival.
Fantastic central location to north Cornwall and about 11/2 miles from the lovely camel trail.
M &S shop and petrol station nearby.
Only down side was the busy main road and traffic noise.

Despite this being a short local stay to un-winter the van, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay as per previous visits.
The site is immaculate and despite the COVID restrictions Jo & Sarah ensured our stay was a good one.
A shame to leave so soon especially given the unexpected good weather however we are looking forward to booking for later in the year.

Wonderful little well kept site in a great location.
Site was clean and tidy with a variety of pitches from Grass to gravel with hedges and plants to give privacy from each other.
Staff were great, really friendly with services from fire pit hire to helping with maintenance.
Right on a bus route from Wadebridge to Padstowe and easily reached from main roads so need to worry if your in a big Motorhome.
Newquay, Port Isaac and Tintagel all within easy reach.
The Cafe (Strong Adolfo) just down the road great for brekky👍
Definitely would recommend.

A nice small camp close to Wadebridge and Padstow.
The pitches and separated by hedges and are either grass or hard standing. The facilities are clean and well maintained.
The Owners go out of their way to ensure you have a good visit.
Late night, raucous noise is not tolerated for the comfort of all.
The only and I repeat only downside is the noise from the traffic on the adjacent A39 road.

What a fantastic site! The staff were cheerful, couldn't have been more helpful if they tried. They recognised and greeted you when you bumped into them. The facilities were spotless, site immaculate and absolutely faultless. Bus stop right outside across road for Padstow, Same side for Wadebridge which was a bonus. Will definitely return one day. Well done Jo, Sarah and the two other wardens SORRY couldn't remember your names (something to do with our age I do think) Ha Ha
