My family and I have just had 5 days at this spacious site. The owners were very friendly and extremley helpful. The facilities were to a very high standard. The site is very close to all main beaches and coves.
Delabole village is next to the site but is not worth a visit as it is very run down, the public house was not fit for my dog let alone my family. The village has a spar that sells not a lot and there is a visitors centre at the local slate mine but i would not bother if i was you.
This site is totaly spoilt by the main road or should i say race track it is situated on. The site is situated right on the 60 mile an hour speed up point as you exit Delabole village and the noise from the speeding cars is unreal and unbearable. As you exit the site everyday be ready for a near fatal accident each time as the speeding cars have no chance of seeing you exit the site. When we left the site i had to get my son to cross the road and look before i pulled out with our caravan. My family and I will not be visiting this site again as it was to noisy and extremely dangerous.

We stayed at this friendly little site for four days and found it to be an ideal base for visiting the North Cornwall attractions such as Tintagel, Boscastle, Port Issac (Doc Martin's area), Jamacia Inn and the surfing beach at Polzeath to name just a few. The site has adequate facilities for its 5 Caravan Club pitches and includes a laundry room. For the adventurous, a wetsuit wash is available. Everything is maintained to a high standard by its very friendly owners. A short distance away is the Poldark Inn which has an excellent menu as well as a great atmosphere. We will most certainly be returning on our next visit to Cornwall.

June 2005 Having just spent 10 nights at this site, this is my personal view.Dunree is a very clean and tidy site. The site owners Mr.Mrs Archard were very friendly and most helpful. The site has one toilet/shower cubicle, plus one toilet cubicle complete with handwash basin. Both were kept clean and tidy with a fresh handtowel provided everyday. The pitches are level and have 16amp hookup points. The views of Bodmin Moor are stunning, this is a friendly quiet site and one I will stay at again in the future.
