Very small site with 5 hookups and about 15 other pitches all marked out and spacious. Level farm field and great soft grass for easy pegging! Some nosey bullocks in the next field right next to the pitches but they weren't a problem and could even be stroked! About six 4 star holiday cottages built around the farm (also very quiet) share the site.
Facilities in 2 old trailers provided 3 loos, 4 small basins and 2 showers. All worked ok but even though only 6 pitches were occupied, cleanliness was not good. The showers were electric and as hot as you want though which did compensate a bit. The only real downside was no ice pack freezing facilities. After many years camping all over the UK and France, this was the first time we had been let down like this and it meant shopping at the end of every day. We also had road noise all night being brought on a northerly wind but I suspect this was unusual. Great open space for ballgames in the middle of the field and everyone we met on site was extremely friendly.
This is a very beautiful and diverse part of Cornwall, stunning coastal scenery with pretty little fishing harbours and sheltered steep wooded valleys on the eastern side of the peninsular. Loads of activities catering for all ages and tastes but definitely not overrun with tourists (apart from the Lizard itself)! Better for those wanting to experience the quieter more traditional holiday.

We have just arrived home from our stay at this campsite. We've had a great time here, as the other reviews suggest, its very peaceful and quiet on this site. The field where we camped is large and the pitches very spacious. There is an expanse of field in the middle for the children to play games etc. The washing facilities were great! Two washing machines and two dryers available which have a meter and the cards are bought from the house. There is also room there for wetsuits to be hung up to dry and there are three rotary washing lines in the garden. Also two sinks and drainers for washing up. The toilet and showers, well they are in two antiquated portacabins. They are quite clean, they just don't look too good when you first arrive! There are two showers with a toilets in, and a separate toilet block too. There was always a queue for the showers / toilet in the mornings and evening. I really don't think that there are enough toilets / showers for the amount of people that were staying on the campsite. This campsite was great, just a shame that the toilets / showers weren't quite up to scratch. Even so, we had a fantastic holiday on this site, my children loved it too.

August 2005 One entering the site the owner was in the process of cutting the grass where we were to pitch, and came over to welcome us - which was a good start, after driving over 6 hours. Even though the site was almost full it was quiet, even though children were there (including our own). I would recommend this site to families, as its out of the way, but still very close to some beautiful coves such as Coverack and Mullion. My kids usually love all the busy resorts, but loved it here. Will be returning next year!

June 2005 If it is peace and tranquility you are after then this is hard to beat! When we stayed there in June we were the only people there! -you cant get more peaceful than that!
The site is on a large well kept field with electric hook ups available for five tents or caravans it also has toilets,a shower and an area for washing up and a laundry. The facilities are spotless and the owners are very friendly and helpful. There is a woodland area close by which is available for dog walking etc and it is also a haven for wildlife.
Off the beaten track but only a couple of miles from picturesque Coverack and St Keverne- both with shops for necessities and some great pubs and restaurants too! A great area for walking and lots of "R and R"!! Thoroughly recommended!!
