Lovely rural site with spectacular views across green tree lined valley.
We like the fact it gives you the basics for a a quiet overnight stop when travelling to or from Cornwall which we have done a couple of times now.
There is a very narrow lane max 2. 5 metres which you will need to navigate for a few hundred metres, to access the site, narrow with passing places for a mile or so before that.
My 2.4 A class M/Home just passes with care.
I am sure it would be ideal for visiting / exploring the local area if you have a car or smaller camper.

Lovely site, large field so plenty of room with lovely views, although most of the time we had it to ourselves, only one other caravan there for part of the time. You do need to have your own facilities as there are no toilets or showers provided. It was very quiet, the only sound at night was the hooting of owls. The owners are friendly and helpful, a nice touch was they provided a pack on arrival of leaflets with local attractions, walks etc. It even included an ordnance survey map.
There are some lovely walks and we were lucky enough to see lots of wildlife, including deer and foxes. There is plenty of public transport to parts of the moor and plenty to see in easy reach. We will certainly go again.

This is a lovely site with great views over north Dartmoor and close to Castle Drogo. The site has electric hook up all included in the £8 charge per night. You have to have your own toilet and washing arrangements. The site is very dog friendly with about 25 acres of exercise fields! The site is very quiet, it is very easy to get to, only 2 miles from the A30 and 15mins from Exeter. The approach road is narrow with passing places, all the local drivers seem quite used to pulling over for us caravanners. There are Spar type shops about 2 miles away and about 6 pubs within 10mins drive. We will be visiting again in 2010 for another beautiful rest.
