We have stayed here every year for the past three years and will be staying again the year for the formula one grand prix.
It is 5 minutes from the shops and pub, the staff are always on hand to help and are very friendly. We would highly recommend to site to anybody going to silverstone.
There is entertainment on in the club but the site is not too lively and is family friendly. The plots allocate a a ideal size and you are not on top of there campers, bbq and generator are allowed (generators to be turned off at 11pm) which is ideal.

This was our first F1 experience, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We booked some months in advance before arrival.
We arrived as one of the first people on the Thursday morning to the site (hence it was a big empty field) and was close to the club house and the toilets. The toilets were of a moderate standard and with it being a wetish weekend the floors got a bit mucky.
The club house had entertainment on, on the Saturday night and in the mornings you could also pick up a breakfast butty on site at a cost, as the site was serving hot food.
The village of silverstone was a 5 minute walk away, which had a pub and a local shop, if you needed anything from the shop on the Saturday or the Sunday, you would be a wise person to wake up early and go to the shop, as we found a long queue outside and inside the shop on both days and the shop is very small to start with, but it sells most amenities. We never went to the village pub, but there were a lot of people spilling out from the pub, enjoying themselves.
By the end of the Thursday night the site was packed and there was a good atmosphere to the place.
The circuit is around 45 minutes walk from the camp site.
Despite some wet weather, the walk to the circuit being a bit of a slog and the mucky toilet floors, We really enjoyed our stay at the site and our time at the British Grand Prix, we enjoyed our-selfs so much we have already booked tickets for the British Grand Prix 2009 and will be booking this site again very soon.

We stayed at this site for the 2007 British Grand Prix. This is my 3rd visit to the site. It is in a great location as you can get to it via the back lanes in Silverstone, therefore keeping you away from the gridlock both before and after the race. This is a very spacious site. There were several big fields open during our visit. We went after the heavy rainfall so we couldn't park next to our pitch. The owners are very friendly and helpful people. There were some toilets on site which were kept very clean (except the floors) but be warned that the queues were very large during busy times. There are some showers available but I didn't try these out so I'm unable to comment. On the Friday night the site was quiet but there was a lot of noise on the Saturday night. The noise was coming from a house that backs onto the site. Music was booming out until past midnight. I would recommend some ear plugs! The site has no natural lighting so I would recommend some kind of torch or head lamp. There is a good bar on site which sells hot food (Burgers etc). This was quite pricey though at £7 each per meal. There is a pub about 5 minutes walk away and another large outdoor bar which is about 15 minutes walk away, The outdoor bar is great as entertainment was provided on the Friday and Saturday night. There is a village shop that stocks most groceries and also a post office which was open all weekend. There were also some residents selling hot food at very reasonable prices. The circuit is around 45 minutes walk from the camp site. I would certainly recommend visiting the site as the positives outweigh the negatives. Book early as the site usually gets booked up quickly!

This was mine and my sons first time camping, obviously this was for the British GP. I would highly recommend this site to anyone thinking of camping for the GP. The service of all staff was excellent always a smile whatever time of day. The food and facilities were great also. Situated about a mile from the track and a 5 minute walk from the town/pub/grocers. It is in the perfect position for an excellent weekends racing.

July 2005 My first time camping. Had a fantastic weekend. Brilliant camp site, not too far away from Silverstone race track. Made very welcome by Pete and Liz. Great entertainment at clubhouse. Definately going back next year (cant wait). Close to local villiage, they have a villiage store and pub which was handy.
The site holds around 200 pitches so it was not too busy. Very homely atmosphere, got to know lots of people, made lots of new friends.
