We stayed here for two nights at August bank holiday for the scooter rally. It was a really busy site but not too noisy at night, we didn't get kept awake. The touring side facilities were not clean at all, I refused to shower in them and the rubbish was over flowing from the large bins that had not been emptied whilst we were there. The food in the bar / restaurant was ok and the service wasn't bad. The location is beautiful if you have a sea view pitch, but difficult for public transport, it took an hour on the bus to go 5 miles. Sorry but we would not visit this site again.

We were allocated this site by Sun £9. 50 holidays and enjoyed a pleasant short break.
Nice very well heated little pool and playground for the kids. Clean fresh smelling caravan if a little basic.
Many local attractions a short drive away. Duvets pillows and bed linen are provided and were all clean but the covers were rather old and mismatched - we had taken all our own anyway.
A toilet roll was provided but nothing else such as cleaning cloths or washing up liquid.
Bar room was fine but the bar meals were not good - very poor choice and all with chips - the kids meals were bigger than the adults for some reason.
There are amusements on site but again I'd give them a miss and use the seafront ones. All in all fine for a short break but would look elsewhere for a longer stay.

We visited this site in august, we went on to the touring area, the grass was very rough and the view was of static caravans! Unfortunately the toilet block / showers were about 1/4 mile away, but they were clean, did not like having to walk through amusements room to get there! So own sanitation essential! It was quite expensive for a patch of grass that is not well kept. What I'm trying to say is its not a picturesque site!
Although parts of the IOW are nice the parking costs are a bit pricey and you cant transfer tickets from one car park to another!
I think the park is really for statics not tourers.
There is a shop right outside entrance which is convenient.

Booked a last minute deal at Fairway holiday park. We had a budget Caravan and you pay for what you get. Caravan was old and a bit worn but kept in a clean condition. Site was not large but had a swimming pool, club house local shop across road from caravan site.
This site is an ideal base for seeing the sights of isle of wight. But what you could miss is the lovely walks around holiday park.
I thought this holiday park was good value for money. If you want entertainment during day for your children then book a holiday park and pay 2 or 3 times the money.
Thought staff were friendly and helpful.
Some suggestions.
Sort out laundry times which would be more helpful to holiday makers. We pay to wash and dry clothes and should have priority over cleaners.
Get your cleaners proper cleaning carts and uniforms. Shopping trolleys just look naff. They do a good job and should look professional

Had a four night break end may(half term week) nice little site with nice staff. Heated outdoor pool is nice and its a nice tidy site. Some of the vans were a little dated but seemed clean. The site is a little away from the front but there is a bus stop outside the site. A smallish site but we enjoyed and will certainly return in the future. The iow is lovely and this park makes a good base
