Stayed here for the first time as a family over the half term period.

We hired a six berth caravan (for a family of 4) that was well equipped for our needs with great views of the Solway Firth and into Scotland. Nice touch were the bird tables outside the caravan windows that attracted great bird life and made the stay more pleasurable.

The owner was very chatty and friendly as we had to change from one caravan to another midway through our stay. We were aware of this at the outset so no big deal.

There is a restaurant on site (we did not use so unable to comment) which is very convenient as well as a shop with limited opening hours.

A lovely small site, well situated for the Northern Fells.
