We had an enjoyable week at this site. On the plus side our caravan was clean and tidy, although not too well equipped, we had to go out and buy mugs! There is a lovely children's playground that has plenty for all ages. The indoor swimming pool was good, although no separate children's pool. The on site shop was expensive but there is a tesco just down the road. There is plenty to do in this area, some lovely towns like hastings to visit, and things to do rain or shine. On the down side the site is next to a big rubbish dump so really not very scenic! There are two separate evening entertainment venues here, and we did find it got a bit noisy from people coming and going at the weekend, but the site was very quiet mid week. I would recommend this site to families as there is always something for your children to do.

We took are grandson here for the weekend and stayed in a rory the tiger caravan, it was decorated with pictures of him and everything, it was so lovely and hardly any extra money. Just past our caravan was a lovely play area that was clean and tidy and very fun, the swimming pool was lovely but if you were watching got very hot. So I'd advise you not to watch and just get in, there was an outside pool as well but it was too cold to use that when we were there. There was plenty of entertainment. Everything you needed on site, we didnt leave there till it was time to go home, my grandson didnt want to leave so we promised him we will take him back soon, you get a reduced price if you book on site before you leave as well. So all in all a very good time if you want an action packed break.

We've stayed here quite a few times (probably about 7 times now) and have generally been very pleased. Our children LOVE it here. There is plenty for them to do and a nice outdoor pool if the weather is good. Indoor pool can get very crowded on cooler days. Staff are very helpful and if you have any problems they are usually quick to try to solve them for you. Unfortunately you cannot always park outside your caravan but this does not really inconvenience except when unpacking/packing car.
We usually only hire the basic model of caravan which is (if you get a good deal/Sun offer etc) very good value, comfortable, clean and adequate. There is a well equipped shop on site which offers cashback. Not far away is a large Tescos store, McDonalds etc. Just got back from a weekend at Combe Haven and had a lovely time - and have already booked our next break there. Compared to other caravan parks we have visited (some which leave a lot to be desired) Combe Haven is a nice site - we give it 8/10.
