Dangerous narrow roads into park dean. £800 to be put at the bottom of steep hill in a caravan that was clean but couldn't swing a cat in (and that's why we upgraded more room). Patio area is beneath what looks like a block of council flats. Pool was to hot, my bath is cooler!. Flume never open as the only ever 2 staff were to busy talking secret codes to each other by hand signing. Only ate once at the bar grill place as food was revolting. Reheated chips and fighting away 10 seagulls. Couldn't stay more than an hour in cramped entertainment bar and over enthusiastic team (head ache). And the biggest thing for us as a family couldn't park anywhere near our caravan had to park even further down hill. Overall exhausting just getting to the shop and back. Never again will we come here. Paid £800 just to sleep here

A fantastic little site! Set on the outskirts of Torquay with a sea view on one side, rolling hills on the other, yet only a 15 minute walk from the nearest shops, which include a tesco express, Chinese, chippy, newsagents and betting shop.

The site itself was well maintained, with a shop, indoor pool, multi sports court, crazy golf,(not brilliant, but free!)a playground and a bar which overlooks the playground! Nice touch, parents can relax with a drink whilst still keeping an eye on the kids.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the entertainment was fairly good, the bar was nice and the beer was good.(At £3.20 a pint, it ought to be!)The shop was expensive (as always!)though the tesco down the road meant it wasn't a problem.

This is the second Parkdean site I have stayed at, Challabrough Bay being the other.(another fantastic site!)For me and my family they seem to have the balance just right, big enough to cope, small enough to care.

We stayed here for 11 days in a 2 bed static which had a bunk in the twin bedroom so it slept 7. The van was clean and well maintained and the staff were friendly. The playground was only suitable for under 6 which was a shame as our oldest was 8 at the time. The crazy golf is very small. The entertainment was good. The club house was fairly small and not crowded. On the negative side our van was right at the bottom of a steep hill and to get up to the clubhouse, shop and playground you had to walk up some steep and slippery steps - not ideal with a buggy ( but not all the vans are at the bottom) We would go again if we were in a van at the top.
