Stayed in a lovely 3 bedroom lodge at this wooded site. Very clean as is the rest of the site and the staff could not be more friendly or helpful. Had a few drinks in the bar when we first arrived but they were a bit pricey so didn't bother again. Had chips from chippy on first night which were a bit like fried cardboard but they were all eaten! Ski slope is an added bonus and although we didn't use it, our lodge overlooked it and everyone seemed to be having fun, the instructors were very patient! We visited The Smugglers Inn about 4 miles away, absolutely gorgeous with walks and rocky beaches and of course the Inn. Also went to Chesil beach, Weymouth and Swanage. We were six, 2 parents and 4 teens 19, 17, 16 & 14 and all seemed to enjoy themselves. A very pleasant break courtesy of The Sun holidays, would go back, so much more to explore.

Stayed Mon - Fri on 'Sun' £9. 50 offer. Site is all lodges set in Woodland. No issues with the interior cleanliness, fixtures or fittings. Some of the exteriors could do with 'a once over' to remove moss and cobwebs etc but not a huge issue. Very nice pool with flume and wave machine all the facilities were good and nicely done not at all tacky. A little too far out of Weymouth for us as we like to go off park a lot but fine for a short break.

Stayed 7 nights in the basic 3 bed lodge in august. Lovely site always seemed quiet. Fantastic pool, wave machine and inflatable fun (couldn't get kids out of it) site is showing age in places but was spotless no litter etc, the lodge was about what I expected but I've stayed in worse!

entertainment if you wanted it,didn't have meal so cant comment. 9 miles into weymouth great place sealife, monkey world etc not too far. I would go back, lovely get away from it all break but enough to do for the kids in wet weather 8 / 10 give it a go !

Went here for the first time in June and we are definitely going to try and go back again later in the year. The cabin was clean and fully stocked, the park itself was tidy and lovely to just wander around, especially the beautiful lakes. My husband spent a few hours trying unsuccessfully catch and loved the peace and quiet.

Didn't try the ski-slope but it looked like great fun! Entertainment for the kids was excellent, and once I got over how cheesy the adult entertainment was I really enjoyed it, the Troupers obviously put a lot of effort into their performances. The food in the restaurant was reasonably priced, and you get a lot for your money, and there is also a small bar with some sofas to sit and watch the football/cricket etc. Swimming pool was excellent, my daughter loved the wave machine. Didn't check out the roller-rink or soft-play area though so can't comment on that. Plenty of games in the arcade to keep the kids occupied though!

There is a very reasonably priced chip shop on site, a launderette and a well-stocked shop which wasn't too expensive as holiday park shops go.

Couldn't hear any of the entertainment from the cabin though, so if its not your thing its easy to avoid it!

Warmwell is a great base to go exploring too, we visited the tank museum, monkey world, Weymouth, swanage etc.

All in all, an excellent holiday, can't wait to go back. Probably wouldn't go back in the school hols, don't think it would be so easy to get a seat in the clubhouse, get served in the restaurant quickly etc.

We spent a weekend there in one of their lodges.

It had one twin room with a very decent sofa bed in the open plan lounge/kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked and had lots of space. There was only three of us so we had plenty of space. Their was a small lake with many ducks which my son enjoyed feeding. Depending on where you are in the park, it may be a long walk to the clubhouse. Club was ok, we never tried the food but the entertainment was good. My son loved the mascots and they somehow managed to get my grumpy hubby up to join in one of the games.

They even offer to pick you up and drop you off at Morton, the local train station. I would go mack for sure! The bath was huge it could sit 3 people easy!
