This is a great site and close to Dover. I arrived at 2pm and the static was not ready but they offered me use of all of the facilities, the bar, etc.
When I collected my key at 4pm I made my way to the caravan. There are not that many statics here and I prefer this to the huge holiday parks.
The static was pretty new and had everything you needed from two bedrooms, fully fitted kitchen with all the required utensils, freeview tv and DVD player and a large modern toilet and shower room. It had full gas central heating, which was lovely as it got very cold of an evening.
On site there is a bar / restaurant, entertainment room, pool, gym, outdoor play area, arcade machines and a shop which stocked the essentials, however for a bigger shop there are a few supermarkets in Dover.
We ate at the pub one morning and the breakfast was ok, but we decided not to do it again, it was reasonably priced and pretty quick to come out after ordering.
We did not use the pool, but it looked a good size and they had adult only times so you could get a proper swim in away from any kids. My wife used the gym and they wanted to charge her £5 for an induction, however after a chat with the boss they waived this charge as she uses the same equipment everyday in our local gym.
You can walk for miles from the site, however to get to the coastal paths you do need to walk a short distance on the streets, although they are quiet roads. The coast path stretches for miles in each direction and you can walk in to Dover, past the castle and this is only a couple of miles and pretty easy walk.
Before you get to the coast path there is a nature reserve and hidden in there and old war remains which made for some fun exploring.
There is a lighthouse just after the reserve and this is National Trust and you can go up it and there is a tea room there too.
Dover has all the main shops you would expect and a cinema, restaurants, etc. St Margarets at Cliff has a couple of pubs and restaurants.
We visited Dover castle and did some walking and we would stay here again if we wanted to return to the area, but we have ticked it off now.
Overall an excellent site in a great location, with friendly and helpful staff.
