A really delightful campsite - one of the best we've stayed in. Quiet location, close to great beaches and excellent facilities. We can particularly recommend breakfasts on the patio - very friendly and welcoming owners. First class in every way.

Having camped over various places in the UK over the years, I can honestly say that KIng's Acre is the BEST camp site I have ever stayed at. This is the second year we have stayed at the site and have had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. The facilities are excellent, (free showers!) and are so clean! The campsite itself is well maintained, quiet and secure. There is also a coffee shop which has lovely coffee and snacks and breakfast can be ordered in the mornings at a very reasonable cost and which I highly recommend! The owners, Lynda and Graham, are lovely and genuinely care about people having a good holiday whilst staying with them. King's Acre is also ideally located near the coast and is a good base for accessing other parts of Cornwall on day trips. This is the sort of campsite that you will return to again and again - it really is that good! Thanks Lynda and Graham and we'll see you next summer! xxx

This is a lovely peaceful site - not too big and the facilities are spotless. They are cleaned daily and are quite modern. Breakfast available on site. We had a very restful 2 weeks. THANKS

Visited this site after seeing reviews and was very happy with it. Small site with a very friendly family feel. The facilities were neat and tidy always clean and everything you would need for a weeks stay. The couple who run the site are very helpful. For a family visiting North Cornwall for some cycling or beach visits you could do a lot worse

August 2004 We (4 adults, 2 children in caravan and TT) had a very enjoyable 10 days at this site. It is a small square site behind a B & B. Some of the pitches are slightly sloped.
Very clean toilets/showers/laundry/washing up facilities. Enough room for the children to play in the middle of the site. Fantastic cream teas. The site offers catering for campers as well as B & B but we did not use this facility. There is a small shop too. Would definately go back again.
