A lovely site with a choice of grass or hard standings. We chose the lovely grass. Wide very well kept pitches with a small hedge in between each.
Maybe a tad expensive at £22 per night with no facilities except EHU, however worth it for the lovely, quiet pitch and the secure site. (The hard standings are £18 / night but are not as picturesque)
Had a good meal at the Local, (five bells) and also used the local cafe.
We visited Newark and went round the church which was great, also went around the museum with it's great civil war exhibition.
On the Friday we cycled out to Belton House. A good 11 mile cycle on quiet roads.
Think we will be back.

Great site easy access off A1 just outside Newark in village of Claypole.
Site very clean and tidy, plenty of space grass or hard standing pitches.
Short walk into village has a small shop and great pub The Five Bells highly recommend if in the area and short distance to the main Motorhome dealers in Newark within 7 miles of site.
Secured access through remote access gates no access issues I was in 8.7m motorhome.

Owner asked us to call pre arrival for code to enter site and gave us directions.
The site is well looked after, each pitch private with conifer either side, we liked that.
Ideal stop over five minutes off the A1.

Just returned home after spending a lovely weekend at little acres. This was a lovely site to stop at for exploring Newark and the surrounding area, there's a little hut on site with books, info on local attractions and takeaways. The owners were friendly, site was very clean, flat & secure with plenty of room between vans. Was lovely sitting in the van watching the free range guinepigs, sheep in the next field and the owners dog Archie. Unfortunately they have just changed the policy to no dogs allowed which is a shame as we are dog lovers, we don't have a dog at present but may restrict us in the future. Electric on site is ok in summer but in colder months might be a problem as each pitch has only 10 amps. Please be aware that there's no toilet or shower block but over all we found this to be a great site well worth the price we paid!

A lovely site with a secure gated entrance; you sre asked to phone for the code but can book online. We used it twice, 1 night on the way up to Yorkshire and 2 on the way back. Make sure that you pitch in the right place though, if in doubt ask. The owners may not be about, but there is a warden who lives in the twin axle Sterling on the way in.
Access is easy from the A1, just follow the directions in the CC book or website. No narrow roads, just watch out for the left turn to Claypole which comes up suddenly.
The dog walk by the river is small but good and swimming dogs will love it, don't stray off this area though as the neighbours will complain.
The price is still £10 per night but will shortly rise to £12, still an excellent price.

Just got back from this site yesterday and I must say what a lovely site this is. The guinea pigs and rabbits running around was lovely to see and Archie the dog was very friendly. The owners were very helpful too. The shop is about five minutes walk and the pub is close too. It is a lovely quiet site and most definitely worth a visit. Very good price of 10.00 a night with electric, I shall be going back there again

As has been mentioned in previous reviews this is a great site with a little quirk. Everything you would expect from a CL including very nice host along with the Dog Archie who is always glad of a pat and stroke. They also have about a dozen pet rabbits and 17 Guinea Pigs that roam the site which adds to it's charm and homely feel. Claypole half a mile and Balderton two and a half miles are nearby for any shopping you require along with a good Fish & Chip shop called A1 in Balderton. They also have a small hut with places to visit and any information you might require to add to the enjoyment. I would not hesitate to recommend this site and will use it again ourselves.

We stayed at this site for one night prior to visiting the Newark Motorhome.
The owner, Pete Walters, welcomed us with open arms. This is one of the best CL sites we have stayed on. Only £9 per night. My only little grown was no toilet.
The grassed area is like a bowling green together with an excellent hard standing area.
A 10 minute walk into the village to a very well stocked local shop and a very friendly landlady at the local pub.
Our dog made friends with Archie, a very friendly dog owned by Pete, who wanders around and comes to greet you on arrival.
We will definitely be returning for a longer spell in the future.

Glad we tried Little acres a great cl site. We asked for a pitch on the hardstandings only because of the amount of rain we've had this summer. There are three pitching areas but next time we go will be in the back field it,s as flat as a bowling green. The owners are very friendly and our dog soon made friends with archie the owners dog. Also roaming are the pet rabbits and giunea pigs which are fun to watch. The owners are constantly up grading the basic facilities that are needed on a cl. Its about 1/2mile to the village with 2 pubs and the shop which opens early morning for newspapers etc. With electronic gates once your on site it makes for a very safe site. The site is easy to find from the A1 with only the last 20yds, on a narrow lane. We look forward to visiting again that's if it,s not full every weekend. Any one travelling on a long journey either north or south would find it an Ideal stopover for the night.
