A pleasant area to visit, nearby attractions easy to access, however very disappointed with facilities, found it totally inadequate for campers, the large field did have a tap providing clean water but there was only one dirty port-a-loo and no sink in which to wash and no shower.

Very near to an excellent mexican restaurant (book ahead for weekends), and with fantastic views of Beeston & Peckforton Castles.
Haycroft farm is a CL (Camping & Caravan Club) but also has a rally field for tents and caravans. Electric hook up is available on the edge of the rally field next to the CL and in the CL 'paddock'. The best views are from the top left of the rally field. The welcome was low key and the farmer laid back, no pressure to pay on arrival.
Toilet and shower are in one room at the back of the farm, clean and basic. Would warn others that they have to pass a terratorial dog and cat to get there, so children with fobias beware! Idealy, have your own loo and shower in the van.
Lots to visit in the area - Beeston castle (English Heritage), Nantwich and Cheshire Ice Cream farm worth visiting.
