 Very quiet campsite to say it was TT fortnight.
Easy to access the village of kirk michael and the beach.
Facilities weren't the best but free and always available even at the busiest time.
Sarah was very accommodating as we booked wrong on our previous campsite, but she was more than happy for us to turn up early.
We have ready booked to return

As it says, this is a football club which opens it's doors for campers. The tents are situated around the outside of the playing pitch. As a result, if it does rain, the ground stays relatively dry due to the excellent drainage. It is also totally flat which is another bonus.
Peter is most welcoming and has a traditional Manx laid back attitude and is very friendly. I stayed here for both the 2004 TT week and 2004 Manx GP week. The licenced clubhouse was open during the TT week, but not during the Manx. This was due to the lower number of campers who were staying on the site that week.
You also get to watch a football match for free if there is a game on.
There is a microwave and cooker available.
The players changing rooms are where the showers are situated.
Within easy walking distance is the town of Kirkmichael with the Mitre Public House there being the oldest pub on the island. They serve food aswell.
I now use this site on all my visits to the I.O.M. It has sea views and enough facilities for my needs. It has no pretensions of being 5 star, but is very clean and good value.
